I read on this crime report I get in my email that the guy that killed a little 7yrs old in Georgia just a few months ago has killed himself in jail. hung himself in fact. heres the link. http://crime.about.com/b/2012/01/19/jorelys-killer-commits-suicide-in-prison.htm?nl=1 NOT A REFERRAL . anyway,I was wondering if you think the guy actually hung HIMSELF, because it did enter my mind that someone took justice into their own hands because it was such a terribe thing he did? either way I guess some sort of justice was served.

It seems that alot of the pathetic humans who kill and slotter do go ahead and kill themselves. Saves the state alot of money doing it I suppose but it is also pretty cowardly of them. We may never know for sure if he did actually kill himself. I wouldn't put it past him but I also wouldn't put it past a inmate too. They have a very low opinion of child molesters and killers.

That is terrible but not unique. Those behind bars have laws of their own.

so true and hes not alive to tell it. a while back here, a couple of gaurds raped a suspected rapist in jail. and nearly killed him thinking he wouldnt tell who did it, but when they found the man was not the real rapist, he told about who had raped him in jail! which is why i wonder about these things now well at least we know this guy confessed and really did it.

I think he was afraid to be raped and beaten and humiliated ever day of his life for the rest of his life. As a child molester he would have a horrid time in prison. In a way I'm sorry he killed himself. I would rather justice was done by the inmates. He would have been brutalized then finally murdered. He would have had to watch his back every minute because he wouldn't have known when and how they would get him.

Personally if it was the guy himself he did it because he knew he had done wrong, and did not want to face the posibility of life in Prison and have to deal with it all his life. If it was someone else, even though Murder is wrong.. especially when killing a child, that person will have to deal with it whether on Earth or later on, so I am hoping it was the man feeling remorse and felt he had not other choice.

so true. i really hope it was done by himself as i hate to think of someone else putting such a sin on themselves out of rage for his deed.

Child molesters are generally thought of very badly in prison by other inmates. It's possible that he killed himself to avoid abuse from other inmates.

Interesting discussion. However as far as I am concerned, justice was NOT served. I think that Justice would have been better served if the guy had to live with what he did for the rest of his life. I would have made sure he lived to a ripe old age, surrounded with pictures of the innocents who's life he took. By hanging himself, he got off easy. He will no longer have to deal with the things that he did, unless there is a Hell and he spends eternity there. I think that it is terrible that a parent could EVER do something this horrible. I hope that there is a place reserved for him in the deepest pits of hell, and that he will be forced to live with what he did, over and over again.

I know that there are a lot of people that will choose to take the easy way out, and that might very well be what this man did. However, I've also heard that there are a lot of people that will kill inmates that have caused harm to children, so that could have been what happened as well. I guess the only way that people will actually know what happened is if there was some kind of surveilance videos.

im thinking that if there was, no one will bother to check and they probably would get rid of it.

I always always wonder if people really hang themselves in the prisons or if it is something more. I do not know why but when I hear Oh they hung themselves. I always have a suspicion that they had "help" Either way I do not think a child killer deserves a chance to be back on the streets that is for sure.

I think that there is a very good possibility that he just took the "easy" way out so that he didn't have to think about what he did every day and live in the conditions of a jail. I think that if someone else were to have taken this into his own there would be a lot more of this occurring in jails.

it often does occure. if they do not keep them out of population. but then, i figure it may also sometimes be the guards and not detected. it was a gruesome thing he did. so maybe he couldnt live with it himself who knows.
