Hi all, not good news about GIFTS!!!!!

I'm sorry, I am confused, the last I heard KK wasn't going back to job corp, so how was she suppose to go back tonight?

Hi Bjc, So so sorry to hear this. It brings back nightmares from when my daughter was that age. Gifts just has to let her go and I know I can only say that now being on the other side of it all. When I was going through it all...it was hell. I am not Gifts and so I handled it differently and yet I can honestly say that I'm not sure I handled it much better. I remember, I used to get so wired up that I'd vomit. It's so hard. I was lucky, i guess in that I had no choice but to just do the tough love thing. Like Gifts, I'm in housing and housing evicted my daughter..she did jail time. I had other kids to think of and I'm a single mom so I just had to go with it. It was really hard because my nature was to just deal with her and keeping hoping for things to get better. I'm sure this is a blow for Gifts but I hope she is able to get a grip and come around. At this point, I would say that KK is responsible for the consequences of her own actions and Gifts needs to let her face those consequences without softening the blows for her. Let's hope she does.

Oh God... God help the poor soul.. I feel sorry for her... Who is KK? I am sorry, I don't know... But I wish I could do something for the lady... She is a good friend... My blessings and good wishes!!!

I feel so bad for gifts. She is a great person who has done so much for her daughter and yet her daughter does not apprectiate all that her mother has done. I am so sorry that she has lost it again and really hope she gets better soon. Why did KK wait until the last minute to tell her mom that she was going back.

I think there is a time all the grieve and sadness will come out. It takes time to recover and I hope this is the way for her and in the end it will make her much stronger. Blessings for her and you.

Sorry she is not doing well. I know this is compounded with a fear of losing Adrian. It's too bad. I know she had surgery to lose weight a while ago and problems with nerves are a side effect of that. Perhaps you could ask if the Drs are checking her vitamin B-12 level? It's very important. See as are used to eating our troubles away we no longer can after these surgeries so it backs up on us and our coping mechanisms collapse. I hope she gets better soon...

Oh my goodness, how awful. I feel so awful for her. I can't imagine what's she's going through. Thank you for the update. I hope she gets the help she needs, she needs to concentrate on herself.

She really needs to have some place to go and get away from her daughter and all of that. I went through this same thing with my granddaughter whom I had guardianship of for a dozen years. She really needs to find a way to seperate herself from her. Sad to say but she may never get well until she does.

I´m sorry to hear that things are still bad for Gifts. She has been through so much and I just don´t understand why in this case there´s not someone such a a social worker who will take the problem into her hands in part to alleviate Gift´s task

She will definitely be in my prayers. Oh how I wish things would get better with her daughter! =( Doesn't she know what she is doing to her poor mother? Poor Gifts! Please let her know I will be praying for her.
