How can people be so destructive?

I work as an elementary school teacher, when I showed up at work yesterday some idiot dumped cow droppings all over the playground. The morning was nice enough that the kids could have had outside recess, instead because of the horrendous stench and not wanting to drag the droppings all through the school, the kids had to stay inside for the morning recess. Then the school had to use money in the discretionary fund to get it cleaned up. That is money that will now not buy a new set of class novels.

If you know who did it then you can sue them to get the money so you can buy a new set of class novels.

We have cameras at each entrance to the school building, but they do not give a good view of the entrance to the side parking lot or playground. We would love to make someone else pay for it.

It's less worse as breaking each time the school windows and break time after time. Yes it does cost money but you can also make something positive out of it. Take the kids out, show them what it looks like. What you can do with it, how a cow lives, what it eats, the flies etc. perhaps they would even like to help cleaning up a bit (what an adventure) and learn this way not to do a thing like that if they are some older (because cleaning up is a lot of work). There is a lesson in everything.

I don't believe a cow was able to walk across the school grounds. It must have been some idiot that collected up cow droppings from the countryside and then brought them on to the school grounds. Then he or she dropped them. It was not at all funny for the teachers or the children. The poor kids had to stay in at playtime and it must have cost a lot to get the grounds cleaned up. It is awful that the classes won't be getting a set of new novels. I hope that the school find out who did this and notify the police.

That is horrible. Is there anyway to find out who did this? Neighbors that live near the school or any sort of traffic cameras in the area that can be looked at? The school probably does not have cameras huh? If your area is like mine the county is also considered responsible for the budgeting of the school's money and they should get more involved with trying to find out who did this. It can also be considered a federal offense and the person responsible can be in quite a bit of trouble.

Yeah a real idiot would do something like that. That is so aweful. And now the funds can't be used for what it should be. People are so disrespectful. Somehow I wish there was a way to know who did this so that they could be punished. Or have to do some kind of community service to get what they messed up taken care of.

Hello asyria51, Its irony that still the person who has the major role in doing it is still roaming freely without bothering what he/she did.People do such things for their enjoyment or jealousy and they forget everything for it.If you come to know about these people you should do something so that they may get the treatment for what they did.

Too bad they can't find out who the idiot was and make the idiot pay for the removal. We had kids who took cars and rutted up our town field. The town found out, brought them to court and made them resurface what they had messed up. No money went toward that.

hi asyria thats just horrible and its not just your school either. Here in southern California several years ago children in some of the elementary schools were coming off the slides and the swings with deep cuts on ankle., fhands, feet. When the teachers looked they found someone had deliberately poured razor blades into the sand at the base of the slides, teeter totters and swing sets.Innocent little kids were getting cut. also in the same towns some of the parks that had merry go rounds tetter totters and slides had also found razor blades stuck in the sand beneath these areas. Finally on morning a camera did catch a middle aged woman sticking these razor blades into the sand at a play ground. She was sent to prison but because she was declared insane was placed in a mental institution. things like dumping cow dung onto a playground might be soneone's idea of a prank but to meit shows theres something wrong with these person's minds.

People who are destructive like the one you mentioned are everywhere in this planet. They're the ones who really try your patience and if it is not a crime to punch someone like that idiot in the face, then life would be fair Anyway, hope you're having a good time now :)

What the hell is wrong with that idiot? You should have let him clean it. If you knew who he was. I'm sorry for the unnecessary use of your fund. Maybe if you caught this guy you can ask for things he have caused.
