So many of you here have participated whenever I have started discussions. It has been both redeeming and rewarding for me.. But I think I have not returned the favor in good measure. For many of you.. Even assuming you did so with no obligation to me, yet I had to be gratuitous and should have supported your discussions. I have realized I haven't done so. For a variety of reasons. This is your chance. Honestly. Say whatever you want to!!Or advice me to mend my ways, if you want to. Take a shot!!

Hi Pushhyarag There is no need to feel that way. Every one of us is not obliged to respond to every one's discussions. We have our own reasons for doing so. One is that, most of the lotters here have offline works and priorities that usually they have no time of spending a lot of time here so they have the tendency to miss past discussions made by their friends. Don't worry I will not feel bad if you missed a lot of my discussions. I know not all the disc I write will be of your interest/you can relate to. So it's fine with me.

Hi ene: so, you are back from the trip to your friend's place? Enjoyed it thoroughly, I suppose! That is a very well articulated response from you putting things in good perspective. . Good to see you back in action again.

I really don't think that you've done anything wrong. I try to respond to as many discussions as I can that my friends have started, but I think that it is true for the majority of us that we don't respond to all of the discussions that our friends have started. I'm only speaking for myself when I say that it doesn't hurt my feelings at all when my friends don't respond to the discussions that I've started.

Hi dorann. Thanks for reassuring me! How are you coping with everything? The treatment of your husband & all the related issues? Take care!

Pushyarag: It is ok. I respond to discussions which are appealing to me. I earn. If you also respond you also will be earning. You have not been able to respond because of commitments in your office. Pl respond whenever you can and encourage people like me.

ravisivan: quite helpful thoughts! Yes, indeed-since I'm quite pre-occupied these days, it is sometimes possible to login and post a discussion but not enough energy to go through multiple discussions and put together meaningful responses. I will certainly continue to encourage you because you have always responded to all my discussions.

Hello Pushhyarag2000, It doesnot hurt much when someone don't comment back to my response and when a friend does it then i am hurt much more but it never had the feeling in me that i should not respond to their discussions. I understand people are busy in their in their offline lifes too and may not be able to spend much of the time here but here MYLOT gives us the chance to write whenever we want too there is no time boundation here.

Hi sjvg: Thanks for being very understanding. It has been quite difficult of late to get the kind of time I would want to, for myLot. I will try to strike a balance and earmark some time for commenting.

I don't think anyone should feel guilty for not participating because it is a nicer feeling when we can just be happy with what we do regardless of what that might be. For me if I felt I 'had' to do things then I might be motivated more but maybe not as happy since I am only doing it out of an obligation. I think it is better to feel free and be a butterfly. Now get over to one of my discussions and make an entree'

Hi Pushhyarag Does that in anyway mean that you are busy, occupied and not interested to MyLot or Discussion? Wait... let me check back.... Ummm... yes, I have not been on all your discussions and have missed many. But (I love this one word after my Chocos and Coffee and Chocolate and Chowmein)... Okay, But, I find your discussions quite interesting. I have not many reasons but still a few I can share! 1. I like your company and being around. 2. I find some great ideas and information on them 3. And on others where 2 doesnt apply, I find Fun, entertainment 4. If #3 fails too, I find some good usage of English on the discussions I never want or prefer people to change just because some people want them to. (I myself dont change me). quite a bad idea but I am that way... So I can ask you to be what you have been and even if you changed, I would be around

U Rock!! - Appreciation for a friend who is so encouraging.
Hi sids! While I had set myself up for some choicest brickbats, I'm flattered by some undeserved bouquets! sids: you are really emerging a wonderful person and a good friend and it feels overwhelming. In the past week or two I noticed some good discussions you started but I couldn't organize myself to write down my responses for a few tangible reasons: * my mother-in-law passed away two weeks back and my schedule had to be changed completely; I had almost packed up to move over to Kolkata * I had to meet senior execs of prospective alternate employer at Delhi-Nagpur-Delhi in two quick trips * I've still not given up on my work-from-home crave; I spruced up my existing blog and set one other up so that I can leave them on auto pilot just in case I decide to call it a day over at day job Hmmm I feel so re-assured and drawn in by the warmth of your assurance. I'll take your advice & promise to stay around albeit infrequently.

I think you should respond on a discussion if you have an opinion about it. If not there is no need to. Also.. just because you are willing now to respond I will not start a new discussion.

Hi pushhyarag, I think this is my first time to respond to your discussion, LOL. But anyways, Maybe you've been just so busy with your work that's why you were not able to respond to others discussions. But if you have time, then try your best to respond.

Hi tatzkie: I have some recollection of some few comments exchanged by us but yes, I'm not really sure. Yes, I have been into far too many things these past few weeks. . At the same time, I've tried to squeeze in some time for myLot as well, which has made it all quite random. OK, I'll try to post comments!
