i imagine if we can invite many students here especially from the english teacher (who had become member here), we can see many enthuastic member here
why??
because their participation here is not making money
maybe their first and second aim is be active because afraid with their teacher
and the second(for student who likes english), they can improve their english..
so for the english teacher here not only indonesia, lets invite some of your students here..so they had self confidence for writing and reading any english article and know how to make a sentence in english
what do you think it??
it can make easy your burden in one semester , right??

I'm not a student. Nor a lecturer or a teacher.

Hi adhyz...such a good idea. The students can learn many things here, but they'll get confuse sometimes because they'll meet many informal language when they are still learning how to write in English with good sentences and good grammar, but it is okay if they just want to improve their skill.

so maybe you can convinve him or her, that someday, he can get benefits from mylot
thats why many student now become lazy
one of the tools making our student become lazy is facebook, no doubt..
but someday he will be boring in facebook...
so, you must be hard for inviting many people here

it is a good idea to invite students. But they should participate and see that their studies are not affected by their participation here.

Yes. I am a retired bank Manager,. Nowadays I work as a freelance teacher for aptitude and softskills. It will be nice to see our students participate. But students cannot restrict their participation--they may spend more time than what they should in online activities and it may affect their education.

I think it's a good idea, but I don't want it if they're here because they're afraid of their teachers. Lol. They have to realize that the purpose of joining MyLot is to improve their English skills. And also to make new friends who are not just for fun. I mean, kids today only add and confirm friends request so that they can be seen to have thousands of friends in their lists. In this web, they can add as many friends as they want but they're still going to learn something and are able to brainstorm with others. :)

i think we dont know our student purpose when they register here
of course we give suggestion
maybe some of them enjoy our command because they want get a good value, but some of them come here because they want to improve their english
i think it`s good too, because it can increase their self confident that they can understand what another people say in reading,and they are learning how for respond another people comments..

Lol. Well, sometimes I promise my students to give them good marks if they want to obey me, but sometimes not. Thank God my students at my course are crazy about me so they would do whatever I want them to do, but this is not something I can force them to do. I can know who will interest in this, but I won't force those who aren't in return of good grade. :D But yes, this will actually good for them as they can increase their reading and writing English skill. ;)

thanks to God, the ligts is turn on now.
it takes 1 hours for turning out because bad weather
and now the water in several part of my home 
i think you can invite them and it`s good for them for knowing many culture here..

just always hear what his suggestion for your study and so on

Hi adhyz: That's an awesome plan and I hope all teacher do the same. I mean, they actually can earn an extra cash thanks to the job of their students and at the same time they can help them and invite them tio practice the language here in the site at the same time

I don't think that MyLot should be made into a classroom. I remember there was a story about FaceBook, where some students were friends with their teachers. There was a whole thing about it. And most of the kids on FaceBook did not want their teachers seeing what they did online. I don't blame them. That is why we have the option to make it private to the people that we do not want to see it. MyLot is a different animal. This is a wonderful site where we all get to interact with many different types of people. I would not want my teachers, if I had any, or my bosses or anyone like that being involved in what I do online. It is none of their business.

It would be great if there where some extra English teachers here, but they can't give you correction if you wrote something not correct. I think it is fun but not necessary to learn English here. But reading the articles that they have written is very good to make better sentence and remember the grammar rules.
But i have say this before mylot really helps to get a better English so i keep posting on this site!

for the first time, i don`t think (in my opinion as people which english is not main language) it`s the urgent now
i think when somebody had a passion for learning english, why we must scare them, that mylot is not good place for them?
we must encourage them, not be afraid when they make mistake..
here they can learn and of course we can correct if they make mistake
