changes are happening

I definitely do think that the advances in communication are a really good thing. The reason that I say that is because the advent of the internet and even cellular phones that will allow you to keep in contact with people all over the country without having to pay a ton of money have made the world a much smaller place. At an earlier time in my life the world was something that you only learned about in school, but most people didn't have the opportunity to know people throughout the world. Now, however, we do have the opportunity to know people throughout the world.

We are living in a world we could have only dreamed of years ago. As far as global warming, well, I think we humans have something to do with it and I also believe that the planet goes through cycles of its own. I also know from what I have read about the sun, is that one day the sun, or should I say our sun, will burn out. When that happens, the earth is no more. And I also know that that will not happen for like millions of years.

In my childhood the world was in a better state. The seasons had the weather that they were meant to have. Now the summer is cooler and more wet. The winter is more mild that is not so at the moment though. It is sad that global warming has happened. I eat a vegan diet, do lots of recycling and care for wildlife. I am very keen on visiting different countries. Due to the sea levels increasing the Maldives might sink and that is shocking. I love snorkeling and this isn't as good as it used to be.

Hi savypat, I agree with you, changes are coming all over and we should all work for positive change. Everyone will have to accept that global warming is happening very soon, all the evidence is there. Communication is changing so fast that few can keep up with it. We have to find a new way of doing politics as is being even more clearly shown this year. I have no doubt that big changes are coming and where I used to wonder what the world would be like in twenty years, I now have it down to two years. Keeps your thoughts and prayers positive. There has been a lot of changes over the years. One of the things we can have going for us is the communication methods we have now. We have the chance to interact with people all over the world now. There isn't alot we can do about the weather changes, but there is hope for peace with the access we have to learn from others and have them learn from us.

The world always seems to be running full tilt. I do try to make a positive impact in my world, with good communications. As much as possible I try to focus on the things I like, that make me happy, rather than on things that do not.
