Pffiiuuhhhhh : ( Finally ) First Payment from Shvoong ( not really happy )

After several month, finally I got my first payment from shvoong
. I really waiting so long for this - after register as member since April 2011, and actually because of bored of waiting, this payment was not make me really glad. it's feel common because shvoong really don't pays well. and if I have to compare with mylot, I can say that mylot is much better than shvoong which is pay the member from writing article. are you member of shvoong? tell me about your first payment from shvoong? does it make you glad and increase your motivation to write? how if you feel the way I feel? no additional spirit for shvoong after first payment?

Really now? I was about to sign up for that site as I was looking for a good site that pays you to write about anything you want. I liked the idea of writing just summaries as I'm not much of a fan of article writing. But I did hear that payment was bad so I didn't want to waste my time there, I rather use my time on Mylot. 
Some article sites don't pay much either, they all depend on how many people read them, I rather article writing sites that pay up front. Triond is one that pays very little and you could wait like a whole month just to make a few cents. But if you really like writing as a passion then it's alright.

You are really a lucky person. I am old user of shvoong and posted about 40+ articles Some of them working really well but earning is still peanut... yet to reach payout I have lost my hope of getting paid by this site

hi, anujain, total of my article is more than 100. it's enough to explain how much enthusiastic I am for the first time.I always tried to post new article each day, but the earning really worse. so I lost my enthusiasm and not write again for 2-3 months -I try to write for my blog which may worthy than shvoong.so now, do you write for other site such as Triond or Expert Coloumn?

I am also a member of Shvoong, since 2009. But, until now I have never received payment from Shvoong. I've been very diligent in making the article, but because they do not get a satisfactory result, I became lazy to make the article. I make the article, if I was intent only. I agree with you, if MyLot better than Shvoong. Payment from MyLot, also better than Shvoong.

we have same experience exactly, become lazy since the payment is not really good.it's prove that payment is one of important factor which influence the writer.actually I forget the last time I write in shvoong, but I think wasting time in Mylot is worthier. indah, do you still write for Triond and Expert Coloumn? what do you know about Expert Coloumn?

just what I said, I'm not really happy adhyz, because for me it's toooooo loooongg....! and it's only about $10. after this first payment, how do I get my second payment? does it start from $0 again? because I see my earning balance turn into $0

but I think I've lost spirit for shvoong. now I try to write in shvoong, can't say active yet, but in next month I will more active in Triond. I have many friend who is Triond writer and they seems enjoy Triond very much. may be it's better than shvoong....

I know why you earn very less, cutie, you only had 7 articles!! I had more than 100 articles and more than thousands view, but see, only after one years I got the result. may we need much more hard work to improve earning on shvoong, yeah it's very hard to do

@ adhyz : yeah, she had really few article, adhyz, she needs to improve his quantity of article first, may be noone guide her, but if she want to try again, may be the result different -but still long time earning

yes, you are lucky. You join with shvoong 1 year ago. But, maybe you are disappointed with the side at the moment, because today shvoong experience decrease of performance. The last month I difficult to submit an article because the system is error, and until now I have not get my profit for my second month. What your opinion? Is shvoong still feasible to get money?

@srisahara: many people said, shvoong is not as good as other writing site,such as triond, experts coloumn, etc. and yes, we only get 10% revenue from this site, and it's very low amount. this month I don't know about the earning, I'm not checking yet, but it seems there's no update yet till today

I was about to register in that site when I changed my mind. I am glad that I did not register in that site. I am not a member in shvoong. The first time I saw shvoong, I have a feeling that they are going to pay low for those people who write article. The only motivation for me is to read an interesting topic here on myLot and that makes me to response to their topic.

previously I was experienceless about online cash and shvoong is my first online site that I meet when I really looking for good online site.that time I was so blind about another good earning site such as mylot or may be start blogging. but at least shvoong had guide me to find blogging and mylot -one of shvoong member introduce me to this site! so even not happy with the earning and may be will be no more active, I appreciate shvoong as the gateway to online site...

yes redva..writing in shvoong need many article..i didn`t deny it..
but of course it must be balanced with high quality of our articles..
i mean, if we only write about celebrity info in shvoong, it`s useless..
we should write any useful tips or information (like knowledge in our junior high school, senior high school or elementary)..it will last forever..
i mean every month, every day, many students will search any information like that..

yes, compared to other writing site, shvoong is left behind. but you can get stable earning if you reach certain level. @adhyz is one of shvoong success writer. he has more than 700 articles and get stable earning from shvoong everymonth

I am not a member of this site, but from the discussion i guess it is quiet difficult to earn there. Most of the online earning sites do not pay good. I am a member of only 3 online sites , its very less work but i can not find any more interesting sites.

that's right, but as we know that shvoong now is different with shvoong before? the payment is lower, that's why many people disappointed and phesimist
