-Is it advantage typing fast- like a "Superman"

I type fast (I don't need to look to the letters I watch the screen or what I am reading on a paper/book or so). I type as fast as I think, if I am slow it's because I have to wait till my laptop shows me what I typed.. or the connection is slow.. very annoying. I don't know if you win time by typing fast? I think I do. But therefore I am very very slow if it comes to texting someone :-(

Of course it is a great advantage to be a fast typist. When I read this discussion of yours I tried an on-line typing test to see how fast I can type (I was afraid I lost my abilities because I haven't had too much time to be in front of the computer for the last months). The result of the test says the average typist types 36 words per minute. I got 68 WPM on my test and typingtest.com congratulated me, saying that I could save up to 4.5 hours per week if typing 10 hours per week! Can you imagine how much free time I could have?

The last typing speed I had was 46/wpm, the call center company that I've applied with for Data Encoder was looking for 50-60/wpm. They really need a fast encoder so it's a super advantage to have the ability to type so fast.

yah of course it does. my speed is in 50 yet not that satisfying. There are also jobs that is advantageous when you type fast. for example, medical or other transcribers .
