Dark Mirror

I just watched this weird movie about a photographer who moves with her husband and son into this house with fancy glass windows and such in it. She reads that spirits get too close to mirrors and can get trapped inside. In this case the previous owners. This wife ends up finding a diary of the previous woman that lived there. She was afraid of her husband. It is as if she is reliving this woman's life. Weird movie. It makes me understand how people begin hearing voices and the beginnings of psychosis and even scizophrenics. Have you watched, read or saw something that helped you to believe in such things?

i think you must like the kind of movies my daughter does. i have watched so many of those with her that they all seem quite alike. she really liked the new series "American Horror story" have you seen that? on tv? its taking a break right now but should be back soon.

Yes, i am watching American Horror Story. I believe we all have a dark side. Some won't go there others do and wonder. I like those kind of movies. This one was really weird I thought.

That must have been a pretty realistic movie. I haven't got to see that one yet. I did watch one kind of similar about a lady that found a diary and would dream about the ghost of the woman that wrote it and her life. It was creepy. You never really knew what was real.
I have always wondered the difference in the mental illnesses and the reality of ghosts. Are they different? Are they one of the same? I was once wondering about possession and the possibilities where it was concerned in comparison to mental illness.

This sort of reminded me of the one Crowe was in where he was a college professor and had scizophrenia. It really was weird but it helped me to understand how a scizo must go through to some degree.
