Back afew years my daughter and I and my hubby at the time were setting around telling scarey/weird stories and when it came to my turn i told them about a happening that transpired back when my best friend and I were roaming around the grave yards when I was in my teens. There was one old military graveyard at the edge of town. We loved to go there at night(early morning around 2 or 3a.). Few people knew about this place because back then it was back in some bushes and hard to see from road unless you knew it was there. Soon after we got there three other women came driving up. They asked us if this was a certain graveyard.(The front gate was broken down so you couldn't really see the name of it.) I told them it was. They proceeded to tell us that they were college students from back east9going to school here). They had been awakened by their friend who had had a really strange dream. It was about a graveyard by a certain name. The gal who had the dream had said several names (first and last) that had been in the dream. My friends and I started looking on the tombstones and found the names she had said. Weird, huh? have you ever had anything weird like this ever happen to you?

Hi Celticeagle. No never had anything weird like that happen to me but it sounds really strange. Did you find all the names that the girl had said? Kind of weird wonder what made her have that dream?

Yes, we found all the names she mentions. I think she was nervous about being in a new place and this was part of it.

I think it was just a coincidence. I hardly believe in this kind of things. I know some dreams are signs of something that might happen in the future. And what we have seen may come into our dream. When I was a kid I often dreamed about a house. It was always the same house. One day, my friend and I went somewhere and I saw that house I often dreamt about. I took a closer notice of the house. It was exactly the one I saw in my dream.

Interesting... I wonder what the meaning of that dream meant. That is a strange dream and too me I am sure there would be a meaning, but that would almost be a little odd and frightening.

Strange dream indeed. Sometimes people have these after trauma for a period of time.

Strange to sound and it is hard to believe. How come the name on the tombstone was consistent with what the girl dreamed of,if she never visited the grave yard? Whether It happened by coincidence or there is supernatural.

Spooky I'm having goosebumps reading the last part of your discussion. I wonder what happened with the one who had that dream, those names might be asking for her help or something. So far, I never had a similar experience. But there was an officemate before who told me she had dreams about someone. She said it was a guy and she saw him in his dream being killed or something (couldn't really remember her story now). He gave her his name. She don't know what to do but she says every year on All Soul's Day she light up a candle for that guy in her dreams and say a prayer.

I have heard that people who have been in accidents or had bad traumas may become psychic for a period of time. I have known people this seems to have happened to. That is cool that your officemate does this.

Yes she was doing that and asked that he stopped showing in her dreams, because she's feeling a little scared about it. Coz it wasn't just one dream, she said it's continuous dreams - first when he met him, and the next dream when he was killed or got into an accident.

She had never been to this area before. They had asked around to find this cemetary and that is one reason it was so late when they finally found it. Weird.

hi celticeagle yes once when we were on a vacation trip when I was about 16. we came to this small town in Colorado. I got out and told my parents the Adobe cafe is right up this street two blocks parents looked at me like I had two heads. We found the cafe' and the waitress A lice came over., She said"Patsie how are you?" I looked at her and she seemed to be someone I had'seen before.now mind you I had noever been in this town in my life so where was I getting all this knowledge from. I said" alice these are my parents, Dr and mrs. Clark. She then asked my parents about my sister and why was she not with us.'My dad told her Mary did not want to go so stayed home with her grandfather My parents asked her how she knew me and she admitted she did not know. I was scared and confused and did not know what was going on.My parents thought I had flipped my lid. I never did find out how I could know a c afe in a town I had never been in before.

Many reincarnation stories like this are going around. It is cool and so interesting. And I love it! People who don't believe in such things really get my gote. How can they not?

Graveyards and cremation grounds,as in my country, are the last places i wouuld want to go toearly in the morning or at night as you have done.they are scary places to visit. You never know which lost soul maybe wandering there waiting for a living body to possess so that it can satisfy its unfulfilled desires which it had during its sojourn in its previous life. No, nothing like what you have mentioned has happened to me,thank god.

I am very into the paranormal and love to haunt the graveyards and rock formations we have around here. The myths and stories that go along with them are very interesting to me. I also enjoy the wiccan ceremonies thankiing the earth for what she has given us. Few christian types even think of that.

We lived for a while out in the country in Kentucky when I was 12 yrs. people said it was haunted and my step dads brother also lived there because it was said to be haunted the rent was really cheap and they were between jobs at the time. it had no running water or such either, so we had to go to the outside toilet for such. as elemination , his brothers 3 girls was around my age. 11, 12, and 14 yrs. so we all slept in the same room. and one night we went outside to pee, and was looking over in the pasture. by the cows was a lady walking in a long black dress. out there also happened to be the grave yard for the family that had lived in the big house. scared us pretty bad. but then we were always a little scared there. only lived there a few months.

There is a belif that all information is available to those that need it, this is the possible case here. I sure would like to know the rest of the story, what, if anything happened to each of these people's lives and was it connected with this insident?

Wow..that is creepy. There must have been something left unsaid. I haven't had anything like that happen before but I have had dreams about people I have never seen and wondered who they were. It might have been someone I had passed on the street though. Interesting!

Ya, I saw a documentary about the brain that said that the brain actually records EVERYTHING we see and do. Some part of the brain actually sorts out what to keep. Our brains are amazing.
