...wasn't really a scary movie- it was interesting but at some point it was boring for me. The scary and creepy stuff were only really few. I thought I would get really scared upon watching it since I have heard tons of reviews about it being a great horror movie.. I sat there or almost 2 hours- quite disappointed. What do you think of this movie?

I saw the movie when it first came out so I got alittle hype early on but that was all. No days such a film doesn't have much punch because they have gone above and beyond it many times over since it came out. When I first went to see it with my girlfriend she had already seen it and would leave the room when the scarey parts came up leaving me totally on my own.

Yes, but not when they keep leaving you.

Well, it does help when you have someone with you when watching a horror film.. It is a lot fun when you watch it with friends, even in a dark room.

I was creeped out when I watched a documentary about the movie saying it was based on some true experiences, but it occurred with a boy after he and his aunt had played around with a ouji board.. It was interesting what the documentary said was the actual events. I did think the movie to be spooky when the girl spouted green, was lifted up from the bed and when her head spun all the way around, etc.. but I don't watch very many horror movies.. don't care for them at all.

But the green spouting loses some of it's effect when you learn that it was pea soup.

Oh, so it was pea soup. When I watch this movie I always remember the spoof version of it in Scary Movie 2. That is the reason why I never play with spirits...they don't really harm them so we should just leave them alone.

Hi! Is this the 1970's original movie? I've watched it and I think it was pretty creepy. There was indeed some scenes that was dragging but I think the story was nice and it was original. I mean, it's very original compared to other movies of its time and genre.

are u talking about the retor 70s Exorcist..starring Linda Blair as that possessed kid? its supposed to be scary back in the 70s..before movies like POltergeist even exist.. people nowadays getting more and more immune to just regular scares,,because movies over the years had improved..and the scare level is up for alot of notches. try see INSIDIOUS if u havent..

Yeah, the first movie.. I think i have seen a lot of scary stuff which is why movies like these are nothing for me- I saw insidious- and it was creepy.. Good thing I saw it at school and my friends warned me about the scary parts.. it was a good movie.

It was kinda scary back then. Maybe a bit boring by now due to the emergence of modern graphics.

Yeah, I saw some other Exorcist movies and they were so long and boring.. I think this movie is one of the best Exorcist movies compared to what we have now.
