To shift from one house to an other is a very suffering event but all in the life cycle move from one place to another one as and when required basis. The first thing for shifting housewares is to plan first i.e which one should be moved first and how?

Most people would need some assistance as furniture is heavy. I'm thinking beds, mattresses, wardrobes lounge suites, chest of drawers, dining tables, computers, desks. Then there are the appliances like refrigerators and ...I'm sure you get the idea. I simply cannot imagine anyone moving a whole house or apartment full of furniture and other belongings on their own...it is impossible.

The last time I moved was 9 years ago. I moved to a different apartment in the same complex though. Luckily I had friends with a Truck and all the little things we loaded into a shopping cart, hopefully I won't have to move again any time soon, it's lots of work and I have way more things now too.

I am just settling down in a new office myself. It's not a new job, just that my office is relocating to a new place. I'm just ok with the whole thing, not really exciting. The new place is smaller; this is the 3rd day here and there are still some issues with the internet & communication connections. Moving is tiring for sure, even if we did hire removalist.

How exciting, I think moving into a new place is life changing and exciting, I would definitely need help as I have a few big pieces of furniture, especiall a big chair I won on a radio show, a $5000 recliner and it is so big and heavey, and a big dresser but I think when I decide to move I will try and sell some of my bigger stuff and get lighter smaller stuff....

We moved house around 3 years ago now and we had a removal company to help us. That is the first time that I have had to have this sort of help. In the past when I was fitter I would hire a truck to move all our stuff and usually do it mostly on my own with the help of my wife putting things away as I bring them in. But I would never allow her to lift anything heavy in case she pulled a muscle or injured herself. _Derek

Wow, that is nice to hear, to live on your own. I am happy for you. Good to have a sister and friends around as well to help you. Of course it is always nice to have somebody around in times of this. I had been wishing too to have a house of my own but I cannot afford to buy one Hope someday I will be able to have my own apartment too.

On last 10th, i have also shifted to a new house. I mean me and my parents... actually arranging a new house is a very hard task, it made me sick when i cleaned my house and all those dust entered to my body. ouch.... Have a nice time.

Moving to a new place is a completely different feeling. New people new surroundings and everything is simply new, awesome and great. Definitely we require somme help when being transferred to a new place . We generally take city movers help to transfer goods and heavy materials.

Wow, congratulations! I wish I could also live by myself but I am too scared to get out of the house. I think it is nice to be on your own, you could do whatever you want and be totally responsible for everything! If I move out, I would also need help to move my things around though I do not really own that much. I would just be bringing my bed, computer set, fan, clothes, bags, shoes and books. Other than those, I don't own furniture or other equipment! Good luck to you and I hope you will find no trouble living on your own!

hello asliah, Probably yes, i need help to other people because most of us when we are transferred to a new house many things and appliances we have, and we need to bring all of that to the new house, so if we had other people helping me to transfer to a new house, for me its become easy.

good day asliah, glad to hear that you were able to move on your new apartment. and you are absolutely right that when you move out, you will be needing the help of your friends or sisters or brothers. just like when i do my transfer few days back. as i have talked to my brother to help me transfer my things to my new pad. as i cannot do it all by myself due to the things that i need to bring.

Hello asliah, Yes we always need someone to help us when we transfer our things to new place.I remember when we shifted our house 3 years back all of us helped each other to shift goods to the new place and it would really not have been possible for us without taking each other's help.

men always carry less when travelling or moving to a new place. the only thing that's not compact to bring is my workstation. anything else... can fit in a small luggage. so... with the other appliances and stuffs, let the movers do it. that's definitely is hard to carry.
