Ever made a movie? ...

Hello mylotters! I am in the process of making a little movie with my friends and family and i just thought, have any of you, here on mylot ever made a movie just for fun? Was it a school project? How was the experience? Would you ever do it again? :)

I have made a couple of movies and all of them were school projects. I think that I made the first movie in the 6th grade or something like that. Our teacher divided us in the groups and each group that to make a movie. I don't remember the topic of the movie that my group made, but we enjoyed the process and it was interesting to make our own movie. Much later I went to nursing school and we made a couple of movies there. In one of those movies I played the patient and my friend played the nurse. We didn't have a script, so we improvised. We had to start over a couple of time because we laughed so much, but eventually we were able to finish the movie.

i had the good fortune 20 years ago of making a 5 min short movie when i was at uni studying film and photography. it was great fun and if i could get hold of the right gear i would love to do it again. i was the director so i insisted in doing a hitchcock and having a cameo so i became the cripple that got knocked off his crutches being mugged. i was extremely dissapointed i did not recieve an oscar nomination....not even a sniff of a razzie!
