Hard to believe that this is a black and white movie

i have never heard of it, so i cant say, i do not think i could sit thru a black and white movie anyhow... i would imagine a black and white movie would be very boring to me.. but i have not even been to the movies here all year. its time i go i should make the hubby take me.. he loves to take my daughter out when she is in and does not mind going to the movies wth her, she will be in next weekend we may all go.. not sure what will be playing hofefully something good.. maybe a good comedy to make us laugh..

I don't know what the deal is. Alot of people have a problem watching a black and white film. I watch them on AMC and TCM all the time. Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire dancing and such as that. I hope to see it as soon as I can. Those that think The Artist is boring must not have much intelligence.

hi youless I have not seen it but black and white wou ld not bother me if it was interesing as i grew up when therer were black and white first then colored pictures. I do not get bored like others who are bored all the time. I find so much to make me happy and thus am not easily bored. I hate to judge something as something i will not like before I have even seen it.

Hello Youless, Probably because the movie is old and probably unique to the judges of today something they don't see in recent movies in our time that they wanted this movie to have it's own recognition. besides, the technology, props to make a good movie wasn't really good as it were today. a lot has change but the quality must have some how change because of the rise of special effects
