Since when I was a kid, we moved I think 5 times. And now that I am married, we moved 7 times already. I am tired of moving. How about you? How many times did you move to different house or places?

I haven't ever moved. Our nation isn't really a mobile one. And I kind of don't miss moving around and around and around... but I'd like to move now (from my parents), because I'm 22, and I'd like to live alone after all these years.

Ever since, we only move 2 times. First, was when I was still in high school and the 2nd move is when I get married. I am planning to make a 3rd move soon. Seeing you moving 5/7 times, what are the reasons why you moved? Just asking.

In my life time I have probably moved over a dozen times. They say moving is more stressful than divorce...hahahahaha. Now I am still wanting to move.

I moved a lot as a child because my parents were divorced, and I absolutely hated it! At least 5 or 6 times, maybe more. However, now that I'm older, I think my childhood has influenced me to want to move. I can't stay in a place for too long without feeling restless. I want to live all over the world so I can really decide where I want to spend the majority of my time. Or maybe I'm just a nomad at heart.

Not much. As far as I can remember my family moved twice only until I moved out of the house after getting married. After I got married up until now (about 15 years) my husband and I moved twice already, and next month we'll be moving again but this time, we're migrating to another country.

I've lost track of the number of times I've moved. When I was younger, we were in 2 or 3 different places in Holland, and then moved to Ireland, there we went from granny and granddad's house to the back garden in a mobile home, then on to our new house. I moved out when I was 18 and lived in a few places in 3 different towns. I hope to only have to ever move one more time and that is into our own home in a few years. Hopefully we can stay in our rented accommodation long enough til then.

Quite a few times! I moved 6 times when I was a child and then I moved abroad with my family (to The Netherlands) when I was 14, and we moved 3 times while we were there. I've moved twice since I've been back in the UK.

I've moved more times than I wish to count. I think it was only about 3 times when I was growing up, but then I married a military man (now my ex-spouse) and we moved at least 11 or 12 times in 24 years. At first it was fun, getting to see the country but after about the 5th move it was more like "oh no, not again", and even worse when our two sons got older and didn't want to leave their friends. I am now re-married and have lived in my condo for 3 years now. I plan on moving once more in my life--when I retire.
