We will miss her!

I was surprised by a text message I got from a former student. She mentioned to me about the wake of another former student. Because I was not sure about the message, I had to ask her several times who she was referring to. When I got the confirmation, I just felt so sad. Very sad at that.. Jackie who graduated from the university in 2007 died of heart attack in March 3. Her body was brought home to the Philippines last Friday. She used to tell me constantly that I am, for her, the best teacher. I will miss her terribly! A heart of gold stopped beating, two shining eyes at rest, God broke our hearts to prove, He only takes the best.. Rest in peace our dear Jackie..

Life is but a vapor, nothing said can ever replace the pain you're feeling right now,but you can definitely feel proud knowing that you made a significant contribution to her life by being "the best teacher" to and for her. :) Please accept my condolences on the loss of your former student.

I am sorry to hear that my friend. Indeed, God only takes the best. I am sure you can't accept the truth yet. Even myself can't still accept now that a loved one of mine just lost recently. Those who are left in this world, we will just continue to live. Stay strong my friend.

Such a young age to die, and a heart attack at that. She still has her whole life ahead of her. This just shows that we all are living on borrowed time, and at any moment, He would recall our time in this world.

That is so sad. As a former teacher, I would feel lost too if one of my students passed away. I only became teacher for two years. But I was a part of their life and tried to guide them to become a human, even for a short time. I was overjoyed when I heard all my students passed their exam. Don't be so sad. She's in a better place now.

That's terrible news. Come to think of it, God is kinda like a gold digger. He collects those hearts that are made of gold and leave those that haven't develop yet. If you're really a good person, even those that are not close to you will really be affected by your goodness.
