whats happen with our police??

since 3 days ago, i always hear the bad news about our police.. 2 days ago, Kapolsek Cibarusah (i forgot his name) was arrested in his home when are making drugs party..wow..its record..He is Kapolsek..how come he can be good example for his man?? and now his closely friend, Iptu AR (female police) was arrested too because same reason.. how come we can trust our police for fighting againts drugs and narcotics if they are user of drugs and narcotics too??

I'm not surprised with the news. Because, I know the police are often drunk.

A lot of policemen are like that in our country.I heard in the news that a 28-year-old policeman raped a school girl.It's sad that they should be the one protecting us but others do otherwise.

He got terminated from his job.It's good to have that done to him.He might do the same thing to other young girls.

we have to see it from a clear mind not all police is bad, thus not all police is good though we know that they are supposed to be there to service us...but they are only human. we can not stereotyped them as bad, we have to understand them that they are trying to be good

i think mostly people lose their respect to Police..its the fact i think.. sometimes we forgot that they make our life secure.. sometimes we forgot too that they make our journey in the street smooth and can reduce the traffic accident case..

I don't know about where you are at..but there are crooked cops here too. They are very secretive about it..but there are some bad ones. I can't stand it that they have taken an oath to protect and serve and then treat it like it is so unimportant. There are some really great people out there that risk our lives to protect us..but there are some really bad ones too. It's those good ones that give me some hope.

Actually military police officials in our country have now bad reputations. During Soeharto era this never happened ! Why? Because Soeharto was very strict and no police officials were brave enough to play. He was good in many cases actually. Now you see, as you have mentioned here and has been reported on TV news as well.

Nothing was significant in the first presidency. So, there is no need to touch on it. Only in the two eras of Soeharto and the present president are interesting to discuss. The reality shows now. Nowadays, job opportunities only go to those who have connections.

well... i dont know why i disagree if we always compare with the old time especially when in Soeharto era.. so when we are discussing about soeharto era, we must compare too with soekarno era.. right??

That's messed up, but as you know...Cops are people too. They are not perfect, of course. But it definitely does seem a little hypocritical that the same people who are enforcing the law, are also breaking it. I hope they got into a lot of trouble!

thats ridicolous.. we know they are human too we never admit they are evil or an angel.. who ever said they are not human?? but they must be aware that if they want to be evil, they must resigned as police.. its simple i think

ollenz, thanks for correcting me.. i see.. police is human too..and closely with a crime situation , sometimes make an clean man become a bad man.. so i think we can start from making the good structure in our police department.. to prevent the good cop to be a bad cop

You miss Maezee point of view, Adhyz ........ As human, police also had need, want and lust. Their job make them close to crime activity. Some of them can control their lust, some others can't. Problem in police department in Indonesia right now is control mechanism. Seem like they had poor mechanism in many level chain of command.
