Do you think your life is precious?

Hi guys,
I have this question i just saw some life discussions and hey maybe i can put my 2 cents in.
Do you guys think life is precious, i know most people would answer yes, but i ask why. I mean why do we have to stay alive is it for someone else, to do good, survive or just a habit what are your views people.
I believe that it is precious because it is God given and is a miracle that we are here and still here and will be here or there tomorrow with purpose depending on what we decide to do and what God guides us to go to.

I really do think life is precious and that it shouldn't be taken for granted. So many people around us are sick or dying and they aren't able to enjoy life as much as they would like too. We've got appreciate what we have in our life and really enjoy it because we never know what tomorrow may bring. I think that it is very important that my live is used in a good way. That I strive to help others and not just focus on myself.

You have a very beautiful name my sister is named like you are shes nineteen but sometimes i feel like she's just ten, I love all my sisters.
I just wish I can relate to them more, you are correct life is precious not just as it is but because life can also touch and help other precious life that is why life is important we are not born to live life alone and without any care for others but our lives get meaning ( more meaning) when we make good use of it and offer its capabilities in the name of God.

Thanks. I agree with you wholeheartedly that we get more meaning out of our life when we share it with others. You should try and hang out and do things with your sisters that they enjoy this will help draw you all closer together. It is such a wonderful thing to be able to spend time with our family and friends and enjoy their company.

I'll keep that in mind Dominique, family is one of the reason i know my life is precious because they give meaning to it my wanting to be a better person for my self so that i can be a better son, brother, lover, friend and confidant I'am precious because i can make a change in someones other precious life.

Of course life is very precious,it is really a miracle in nature.It is precious not only because it let you live in the world,enjoy your wonderful life,but also for the reason that your parents give you life and raise you,they have put their heart into your life.With life we can enjoy parents' wonderful love.

You are absolutely correct there my friend the life that has been given to us by God and our parents is very precious and it will be more precious if we make sure that it has meaning in this world.
My example help others do good so that this world would have another person that is humane and that helps others to keep there precious lives.

Of course,Ou life is a gift, my life our life is precious, simply because we are children of God and we live here on earth for a purpose... It's just like our parent's send us to school, Our Heavenly Father send us here on earth to learn and grow and someday, we will return to His pressence and report what have we done with our life...

Wow that is very religious and also enlightening, i think i need to make sure that my every step is toward me giving importance to what our loving God has given us, this very life that i have this very body that our souls wear and this very soul that touches others.
I think it is time I make good use of this very precious life so that when the time comes that we have to say our views to God about our time in this world we can emphasize on what wa our life's importance to us. This precious life.

Yes you have a point there. Why do we treat life preciously? when it gave us pain and hardship. We live to work our butts off to be able to eat, we do different things trying to survive, trying not to die. How would you know that life is precious in the beginning? Is it worth living the heartaches of a broken family, of betrayal, of being somebody when in fact you are just a nobody? Why do we try to make our lives longer instead of dying young? There's a lot of questions that needs to be answer in order for us not to dismiss the importance of life. Like the other response, some live for their love ones, some for career, some because it is god given, some just like the fact that they exist. Personally, I believe life is precious. The reasons? I do not know maybe all that was mentioned above. I just know that i cant just throw this life away that I have to make something out of it. Everyone of us was born to survive, its innate and as we go along the journey of life we add reasons to make that feeling stronger to hold on, continue and not give up. Maybe God only knows.

This is perfect this is just perfect, you are just so deep my friend that i think i drowned in your explanation, yep life is precious but why we just know it is and along the way we find our reasons to make it precious to us and in the end i think God will or may tell us why we existed.

i may not have a good life, but i know i have a happy life.and for me, that's precious. i can make others happy. i can make myself happy. im contented with that.
i may give my love ones a happy rich life, but i know i can give them a happy contented life. that's why i see my life as precious. mostly now, that im preggy. i may not have much money to buy the necessities of my baby,i know i can make it. i can also make her life precious through loving her and giving her all that i can give.that's preciousness. that's life. that was GOD gave us. so take care of it.

Well congratulations make sure you see the doc regularly and drink your meds, exercise regularly that is appropriate for your pregnancy stage and always smile, although i know that you do a lot. You are twice as precious now so take care alright life is really precious when you make it.

I agree with your point that life is precious, but I think it has nothing to do with God.
If life is treated as a gift, I prefer to recieve it from my mother and father.
Life is precious because of you just have one chance and if you lose it you can never get it back.

Yes my life is precious as i have 2 small kids which i have to raise and make them stand on their own feet in future.
Absolutely when God has given us the life then He too is the one who can decide up to when we have to live on this earth may be our lives are precious that's why we are still alive and when we get useless we die.

Hey there sj,
Cute kids, anyway you have a strong point there my friend sometimes the meaning of life isn't in our hands but on the hands that we hold and take care.
When kids are born they are small and so helpless and that is what gives meaning to our existence the need to nourish, care and protect this weak creatures that we've brought to the world.
Guide them through each step of growth and try to make the best person they can be a precious person that someday will care, nourish and protect another precious life in the future.

for sure life is precious...i wud say though i m inevitable for my family. thats not the only thing which makes my life precious. i respect this life for god sent me here. not everybody gets to live as human. human the only one to have the super power brain which can and has done impossible things in the past. i respect my being a human ....i also have the caliber to attain impossible ...

i agree man is different from God's other creations, we were maid superior because of our intellect and ability to adapt to the world and utilize it.
God has made us the master of this world. But i think that God has other plans for us a different and deeper meaning like care for our world, others and our loved ones and also praise his name.
So we are precious for we have a purpose to be here.

I agree with you. Life is precious it is a gift from God our creator. God knows the number of hairs on our head. He made us and has given us the life we have. It states in the Bible "I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, to give you hope and a future." How much more precious can our lives be than to know that God has us in His hands and is watching over us and loving us and has a lan for us.

Wow that quote from the bible is really nice, brings a whole new meaning for how i feel God's hand in my life.
I think you are right we are made for a purpose we are sent here by God so that we can fulfill that purpose and so our life is precious since it has meaning and also it is precious because we are life we are the extension of God into this world and through him and with his image we will walk and fall in this earth with his blessing.

This days I think its totally impossible for most one.Now a days high school going boys and girls are very advanced for relationship.They didn’t think that what happened in future.They are just enjoyed don’t think of anything good or bad.If relation break they don’t seem to be worried, in a few days they will get managed by another one.

Well our young ones seems to have a different view of relationships nowadays well can't really blame them since there are a lot of things in the medeia that promotes this kinda behavior, that is why parents grooming kids to be responsible to others is a vital role in the society.

yeah my life is precious to me..if life is not there than i dont exist..and to exist i need to have life.. therefore life is precious cos i want to exist in this world and be of some good either by helping other or by bringing a smile on someone's face.. and also to enjoy the beauty of life.. Life is a gift by gos to us and we should be grateful..yes my life is precious..
