Previously, we saw some EPL clubs reaching at least semi-final or final of UCL (or Europa). In 2008, we had all EPL final between MU n Chelsea where MU won on penalty shoot out in such a dramatic final. Last season, MU reached UCL final, but lost to Barca. Now..Duo Manchesters` out from UCL to Europa, which is considered less attractive competition. However, Europa is not that easy for United and City. And no EPL clubs in Europa. In UCL, Chelsea is the only British representative in EPL after dramatically beating Napoli on extra time. Chelsea will face Benfica...we don`t know whether Chelsea can reach final/not. Why do you think EPL clubs didn`t show their best performance in UCL and Europa this season?any opinion?share please...

The English clubs certainly have it difficult this season. I do not think this means the standard of the league has fallen. It is just one of those seasons and the english clubs will clubs will be back next season.

Well I think that EPL's level has something to do about it. Teams that want to win the EPL have to be at their best in every fixture making them vulnerable in the european leagues.

jasmeena, welcome back here how are you? what about the vacancy to be soccer journalist?? lest talk to the point i think it is enough to EPL that they can`t be arrogant and claim their league is the best league.. UCL and european league are the proof MU and City is failed in Champions league and must play in european league and now, both of manchester team was not qualified.. there are something wrong in EPl situation i think stuart pearce as england national team manager maybe had a different opinion
