Have you ever felt so overwhelmed by a situation that your emotions got the best of you? Whether you became highly upset? perhaps you lost your temper? Or you just cried your eyes out? Circumstances and situations like that are hard to deal with. When I get that way I really feel tired and at a loss. I think for me sometimes I've got to realize what I can and can't do. Sometimes I try to do so much. Whether it's for work, for my family, or other activities. And a lot of the time I just can't do everything that I would like too.

Yes many times throughout my life. It is just one of those things that happens. I really just find that life tends to really get the absolute better of me most of the time. There was one time a couple of years back, where everything just happened at once. It was not one big thing, but rather a bunch of little things that have happened right through at my life. But it is just the little things that are bound to drive us absolutely nuts. I just got to step back and take a nice deep breath. Just really take it all in, just really slowly deal with the situation. There are just many times where things happen that are going to test the best of us. I think that I am a bit better not putting myself into situations that will not cause me great stress. Of course, sometimes situations of great stress tend to find us more often than not, much to our agony and also much to our dismay.

Yeah stressful situations do tend to find us. I'm hoping that soon all the things that are going on will calm down here shortly. And I also hope that nothing to big happens that will cause me to have to dish out a whole lot of money otherwise my surprise plans for the summer will fall apart. So I'm trying to work as hard as I can so that I will be able to feel comfortable as least financially with all that is happening.

I've felt many times, but through the years. I've been changing and trying to control and relax my different side of me. It can gave me pain, heartaches, and full of many unexplainable thing that I would took personally. I just enjoy the life that I have right now and try to allocate and drew strength from God. After all these experiences I can look back what I've been through and try to start a new life. We must move on in order for us to grow and use our special gifts of understanding and so many other. We must try to stand firmly even though we stumbled and fall and in the end it's gonna be a brand new you.

I agree it is a good thing for us to try and enjoy the life that we have now. We never know what good things may come our way or what trials may come over way. It is really is a good thing to try and be content. It's not always easy though.

Lots of time actually, and mostly lately. Lol! Times like these, I sometimes find it so difficult to control my temper and I have to do extra extra effort to keep my temper down or I would ruin a relationship. So I just turn my back and walk away, instead. Try to cool down. But cooling down doesn’t necessarily mean the feeling of hurt, or pain, or resentment is gone. So I pause and try to reason out the circumstance. With reason, hopefully, would come understanding and the gradual vanishing of the resentment. I hope… Have a nice day ahead, Dominique!

It is a good idea to leave a situation until we have calmed down. We don't want to say anything that we would later regret. Yeah I agree with you that getting rid of the resentment is key. Some people can hold on to resentment for years. It's best not to harbor this but move on from the situation by reasoning on it.

I feel overwhelmed a lot. There's always so much going on in my life, so many responsibilities, that I feel like I'm going to go crazy sometimes. Between work, kids, boyfriend, friends, family, bills, my education, whatever, I feel like I'm in over my head all the time. I love my life and the people in my life, but sometimes I wish I could escape for a while. I try so hard not to lose my temper, but at times I find myself yelling about even little things. I don't seem to cry when I'm stressed. I try so hard to cry, to just let it out so I can feel better, but its almost impossible to get more than a tear or two out. I really wish I could cry because I'm sure it would help me feel so much better. I wish that my life could be a little less stressful so I wouldn't feel so overwhelmed so often. :/

I understand what you are saying. I know that I'm planning to start going to college in a year or two and I wonder how I will be able to do it all. I have my beautiful little family and all the other responsibilities that you mentioned as well. There just isn't enough time in the day to get everything done. I want to do well with my schooling and I also have to work. So sometimes I wonder if I really can do this. I hope that you are able to get your feelings out about how that you are going through. I'm sure that you would feel better.

well there was a time when i joined a contest in our school. it was for our intramural more like a beauty, talent, and wits contest. i was confident in myself but when i saw the large amount of people in front of me i could not help myself but sweat and stare blankly as i stood in front of them. well i think that accounts for being overwhelmed by a situation.

Yes being in a situation like that would be overwhelming. Did you finish the contest or did your nervousness get the best of you? I hope that you were able to overcome that. It would be a difficult thing to deal with.
