My fur baby was found today shot. I just recently found out she was a RR. She was my everything, my security, my best friend, she was just like my hubby without the arguments. I do not know how I am going to get through this not having her at my feet. She loved to put her paws on my shoulders and dance, she loved going in between my legs trying to get me to pet her. She was one of the best dogs I ever had and she is gone. I miss her soo much already. How do you get through losing a best friend? It is going to be a very long week for me.

I find it so cruel that somebody could do that to a dog it's truly sad and dare I say angering at the same time. But I like your sentiments

They got out, and she never returned. Found her across the property line, shot. I have a feeling just do not have proof. Now I have to watch diamond like a hawk so she is not next.

dang!! i'm sorry sissy that someone had to be a hardbutt and not come knock on your door and notify you that she was out of her pen. for someone to be that cruel, we will pray for that lost soul. give my babies a hug for me and tell them my heart goes out to them. of course you get a double hug.

One day at a time sweetheart, one day at a time. Don't be afraid to grieve, you cry, shout, scream if you have to because enduring a loss is never easy. Please accept my condolences.

Thank you. I have cried so much I gave myself a headache. I went to mop my living room and saw her bed and started again. I loved her so much.

I am so sorry for your loss. Just take it one day at a time. I can't imagine how heartbroken and angry you must be. If I were you I would go to the police. Find an officer who cares about animals. Find an agency around that protects animal rights. Its likely that whoever shot her was waiting for her to just one day step foot on his property. He probably doesn't have a heart and doesn't care at all about animals. If this ever happened to my dog, I would not rest until I got justice for him. Hang in there, your heart will heal in time.
