facebook was supposed to force us to timeline today?

Hey in the US, today is the 30th and I thought facebook was supposed to force us to timeline today. Did I get that wrong, or did they decide not to forcs us? Ofcourse it's only almost 6 pm so I guess there still is time for them to do it.
Have you been forced to timeline yet?

Facebook has been getting on my nerves lately. All they do is keep changing things and I actually liked it better before. But that's just me I guess.
No, I haven't been forced yet and I hope they leave it to be my own decision but like you said, there is still time for them to do it today.
I don't go there as much as I use to and quite a few of my friends stopped going too because of all this garbage.

they are almost turning into another myspace! Let's hope not. They need to stay the same not force us into timeline and allow those who don't like it to go back to what they do like. Even the pages on facebook are starting to get a little annoying because of the timeline.
I do go there every day though but don't go to friend's profiles as much because of the timeline.

I agree completely. It gets old when you HAVE to do what these sites want, instead of giving you a choice. I don't go to the profiles hardly at all anymore either. And yes, I do pop in there everyday but I find myself not as interested as before. What a shame, I use to have so much fun.

I have been on Facebook most of the day and nothing has happened. What is this 'timeline' thing? I am in MST here. It's 4:30pm.

It was 6:30 my time when you posted this, and it's now 7:00 im in the EST time zone. I've read it on facebook and a friend told me about it. Timeline is just another profile view that they are forcing on us.

Profile view huh?? They are always doing something. I really don't have any problems with Facebook. Did it happen? I haven't noticed anything new or different.

Well it's the 31st here, around 11:15 AM (not by a clock that has the correct time haha) and so far so good. I hope they listen to us this time.

You know I haven't thought about how it would look on the mobile phone. Well if they do force us all to it, they need to adapt it to use for the mobile as well. Today is the last day of the month, if they don't force us I guess they won't.

Oh I forgot about that. Hopefully THEY forgot about it and won't force us at all, or maybe it was just all hype. They should give us all a choice in the matter anyways. Alot of people didn't like the change into something so very different, and such. I haven't been going there as much anymore myself. I just got a new acct cause of other reasons, I'm deleting the first acct. soon.

I am thinking they are bound to have seen all the people ranting on it. Everyone does, and there's plenty of online posters about it too. They'd be stupid to change it so let's hope they do if nothing else leave it an option... Maybe next time they'll get our opinion on what we want to see.

Haha! That's what I thought also yesterday. I figured yesterday that they will change it on US time/day and not Philippines time. So, when I woke up this morning, I hurried to check my friends who didn't change her Facebook to timeline, and I was surprised that it is still looked the old Facebook! I think FB changed its mind? lol I hope not coz I switched to timeline 2 days coz I thought it will be change anyway.

You should be able to change it back if they've decided against it. It'd be nice if they'd let us know. I don't like the timeline thing at all, and I think many others agree. Those who don't have poked their head in anywhere to say they like timeline so who knows.

I guess we will see in a few hours. I'm not sure where in the US facebook's offices are, but I guess per it's midnight hour if its' not changed then it wont.
