Eating too much!

I've been eating a lot lately, and now I am gaining weight! I don't get much weight but I noticed that my belly is big! I don't know how to make this small again. Last month, my friend from Switzerland visited Philippines and she kept on inviting me to have lunch and dinner with them and I was eating good! Last Saturday, I was invited at the wedding and the food was so good so I had to eat a lot too while talking with my high school classmates. Last Monday and Tuesday, me and my daughter went on a road trip and decided to stay at the resort for two days and we were eating good again since we swam a lot. This coming Saturday, I am invited again for another get together party of my high school classmates and friends! Oh no!! And Sunday, we will have our Easter Egg hunt with the mothers at the school together with their children and of course we will have many foods to serve again! I noticed now that I get hungry often. I just ate an hour ago, and now I feel like eating again and I am kinda worried about my belly when I saw my photos wearing a bikini last Monday during our trip. I saw my photos last year wearing a bikini and my belly was flat, and now I look like I am 4 months pregnant! How am I gonna avoid eating less now that I get hungry often?.. :-(

Here are a few tips I've heard: Workout at the beginning of your day, like within the first hour of waking up. Also, drink at least an 8oz glass of water before every meal. I think that having a friend hold you accountable could also be helpful, tell them you are trying not to eat so much and maybe you guys could help each other work towards only eating when you're truly hungry. Also, try to choose the healthiest option available to you at the time.

Yeah, I will try that. I don't drink lots of water everyday, and I think drinking water before eating my meal will help me not eating more. :D Thank for your response quisha!

Hey,before i say anything. judging from your picture... if that is really you.. you're not that fat to start with haha. Anyway,if ever you really want pure discipline in eating with great results - you better enroll in a program or something. My dad is currently enrolled to the "Cohen" program - i think americans are more familiar with this company. What they do is examine your blood and through your blood they plan your meals according to the desired weight you're aiming for. It's carefully thought of, and it's not crash dieting - and no exercise needed - but you gotta have the strong discipline for it to have results. The food my dad eats that was taken or based from his blood results aren't that bad. They actually have a gourmet-ish touch on them. I'm from the phiippines and like i said Cohen is majorly in america but still.. he was still able to follow the meal plan because they base it where you live and they give you a recipe and where to buy the ingredients as well. Try to search for it if you're interested "Cohen".

i would recommend Barley extracts supplements (juice, tablet or tea) as it helps in metabolism, to help dissolve food in your tummy and to burn fats easily. It also tends to suppress your appetite, being a complete food supplement and making you feel full and not hungry most of the time.

Sounds like you are moving around a lot more, so it could just be your body telling you that you need those extra calories with all the new activity. As the saying goes, lately you have been 'eating high off the hog' or in other terms, basically enjoying the luxurious life of good food and relaxation. This is not a bad thing once in a while...and it will slow down. We are getting into summer here soon so your activity level will increase more and your appetite will decrease since it will be hot. Also, more fruits and veggies will be available and less cookies and candy from holidays!

if you get hungry a lot, what i would suggest you do is drink lots of water. it fills you up and is good for you too.

While you're on each event, just eat a little portion of serving so you wouldn't feel full after that. Eating too much is bad because it will indeed make you gain weight from the foods you eat. Before going to those events/parties, you can always find time to burn calories by going to aerobics class or gym and workout so you wouldn't feel guilty eating afterwards. You just have to burn the calories you consumed for the day.

One reason why I overeat is simply because I'm bored. I would eat lunch and then have nothing to do and think about eating again. Now, I try to find something to distract me from eating, like reading a new book that would take up all of my attention. This doesn't seem like it's your problem but I think if you focus on other activities, you would only eat until you are not hungry. But actually, 4 months pregnant isn't bad looking, you can let yourself go sometimes.

You can eat healthy foods rich in fiber- so you can still eat a lot but lose them later on. Or you can drink water before eating so you'll get full easily. Last, you can also eat slowly so you'll be full..I read that somewhere.
