Just watched this film again and i really enjoyed it. I have mixed feeling of happiness, sadness, questioning and laughter. The characters had great singing voices and really showed feeling.

I recall parts of it. It was some good singing. Great voices. Things put to music are interesting. Ever see Porky and Bess? Good singing in that too. SOme great songs.

I saw that movie at a theter many, many years ago. It was awesome. I imagine it is still new in a certian way but way back then it was a very different look into thr life of Christ. The songs were incredoble and so was everyone´s actig. And in spite of us knowing that they were actors and singers (as it was shown from the first moment) One got into the pathos of the story. For me it also had the Vietnam war as context.
