Will you make anything for Easter?

I keep watching TV and this commercial comes on for rice krispy treats where you turn them into eggs and in the middle add some m&m's so when you mould them back together you hear the M&M's rattle.
I think I will make some treats for the weekend.
My children always loved when I made them and sometimes you forget about the simple things that don't take long to make.
I am gonna make a few of the eggs so I can take them to the nursing home for my husbands mother and roommate.

I am not cooking anything. I made a basket, but I bought everything to put in it. I have never seen these treats before. They look really good and I'm sure your mother-in-law and her roommate will appreciate them.

I think it was new for this year. I am glad you made yourself a basket and also got to go out and eat.
I love rice krispy treats to me its the easiest and fast treat to make.

I am not doing a lot this year, but i am sewing some finger puppets. I think these rice krispy treats sound like a great idea for next year though.

Yea the treats are a neat idea.
Instead of putting m&m's in the middle I threw in a hersheys kiss egg.
I am sure her and Her room mate were having fun eating them after we left.

I'm not making anything for easter. I got invited to easter dinner at my moms but i can't go because we have a bowling league that day and can't find anyone to take place for my boyfriend and i so that sucks. I might make some desserts though and take them to bowling. We normally don't celebrate easter though were all grown up now.

Hi blondie. I still enjoy making stuff to eat LOL
I just thought it was a nice twist on an old favorite.
and one of the cheapest things we can make for snacking on.
Sorry you don't get to go to your moms. I do hope you have a nice Easter though!

my wife is planning to make sweet pudding on easter and she will be cooking noodles as well. i guess its chinese noodles. we dont feed our sun with too much candies and chocolates. so i am sure he will enjoy more if it is chicken and noodles. he loves spaghetti too. so i guess he will be enjoying easter after all. there is also a show of Disney's Cars this easter at a big carpark near the mall i guess its a parade of the cars... we would like to see that too.

I am have to look up your recipe for sweet pudding. I have heard other asian families speak of this and I want to try it.
Disney Cars is an awesome movie I hope your son liked it!

Easter is coming.As a newer of the christians. I want to learn more of God. I believe in God. So at this time of year i often go to church to worship God. Thanks God for letting me know HIM And when i meet with difficulties, i know God will help me.

I am making some jello eggs! Yes, it is what they sound like, simply make jello with different colors, put them in plastic egg molds and set in the fridge! Adults and children love them!

I remember those LOL I made a bowl of them one year, and my kids looked at them and said...MOM WE CANT HIDE THOSE! They will melt.
Of course had already hidden their eggs for them in the back yard and scooted them out the door after that remark LOL
