It's one of the hottest days in the year where I am at and the aircon in our room broke down suddenly without any warning. Since we had a long holiday break due to the lenten season being observed in our country, we had to endure almost a week of no airconditioning and sleeping through the nights with just the warm air of a stand fan blowing at our faces. We live in a small condo unit so an airconditioning in our room is a must. It's just a Monday here while I am rattling away with my sentiments about our aircon and we were told that the aircon repairman is available only by Wednesday. What a bummer. We had to decide quick or we'd definitely have a nervous breakdown. So we were allowed by my in-laws to temporarily stay in their home until after that repairman fixes the problem. Thank goodness for in-laws.

I feel you. It's really hot here in our country, especially these past few days. I have been trying so hard to save a little bit with my electricity consumption. But this week I have to have my air-conditioning unit on full blast. I hope that the repairman fixes your air-con unit asap, it's really nice that your in-laws offered their place. Your kids will definitely love staying with their grandparents.

And even our local weather bureau says it's even going to get hotter in the coming days. Now we really have to get that repairman come over our home and fix that aircon. Meanwhile, you are right, our son is the one that welcomed the temporary sleep over at his grandparent's residence as he is so fond of his cousins his age. I am certain they will be having a grand time while we are there.

Great to hear that, he might not want to go home after awhile or wishes that your aircon unit fails again lol.

The place we're living in at the moment is rented. We bought another condo unit which will be ready for turnover by December this year. Anyways, we told our landlord that the repairman has to fix the aircon as soon as possible because the heat has become unbearable.

That is rough when you have no AC, especially depending on where you are geographically. When our air condition usually conked out we would go to a local pool nearby or go see a couple of movies at the movie theater during the hottest part of the day so we wouldn't get heat stroke in our own home! Here is to hoping you continue to find ways to stay cool.
