Why Are the DOJ and the WH opposed to Free and Fair Elections in the US?

A couple of days ago, a new video was released that shows a young man asking for and being offered Attorney General Eric Holder's ballot in a DC polling place. The young man offered to go get his ID, but was told he didn't need it, his word that he was Eric Holder was good enough for the poll worker. Since Eric Holder (the real one) has said on record that voter fraud just doesn't really happen and that even if you had voter ID laws, they wouldn't really stop voter fraud, this example of how easy it is to commit this type of fraud is particularly relevant. Of course, if you're the Attorney General and you say there is no such thing as voter fraud and then someone demonstrates that they could steal your vote if they so wished, it's pretty embarrassing. Therefore, the official administration response to the incident is that it was "manufactured". What they mean by manufactured is a bit unclear. The only way to manufacture a video is to use a camera, which they admittedly did. They didn't plant a fake poll worker, which would be a fraudulent video. Perhaps by fraudulent they mean that most people are smarter than this particular poll worker and would expect to get caught if they asked for the ballot of someone as well-known as Eric Holder. If videotaping someone committing fraud is the definition of "manufactured", then we have to admit that all those great gotcha videos obtained by the late, great 60 minutes correspondent Mike Wallace were "manufactured". The point is that anyone could do this without camera present and it would still happen. The point is that there is voter fraud and it takes many forms. This video demonstrates how easy it is to commit one form of voter fraud. But instead of asking ourselves what the meaning of "manufactured" is, or why many countries that liberals admire have strict voter ID laws and the UN Human Rights Council doesn't sanction them we need to ask what voter fraud does to our representative form of government. Only if eligible citizens have the vote and have their votes protected, can we have truly fair and free elections. Elections that are won or lost based on fraudulent practices weaken the system and strip citizens of their rights to determine who represents them in government. What we really need to ask ourselves is why this administration does not want to guarantee free and fair elections?

Personally, it is kind of funny but sad. The poll worker is probably going to lose their job over this video. What's sad is that the person obviously didn't know who Eric Holder was. But I am willing to give that person the BOD because there could be more than one Eric Holder and the person probably didn't realize that the AG was registered in that district. However, ID still should have been asked for. It does expose the weakness that anyone can walk in and vote under someone's name. All that is needed is an address which is easily found on the internet.

If the poll worker is not required to see ID, it's not his fault. Of course, you might expect someone in DC to be a little more suspicious of the name. I wonder how many people are going to be voting under the names of people that they know will not go out to the polls?

Rollo1 I know it wouldn't be his fault if the law didn't require it. However, it looks bad so he will likely get the axe anyway. Not fair but realistic. Shockingly, not everyone in Washington DC knows who Eric Holder is. Chicago's whole political system is a joke.

Hasn't voter fraud or allowing those ineligible to vote been going on long before this administration? Wasn't that one of the complaints in the 2000 election? People were being disenfranchised, forget the fact that they were trying to vote after loosing that right do to inactivity or going to the wrong voting location. They were still being disenfranchised! And hasn't one particular party been trying to make it possible for, as they call them, undocumented aliens to get to vote by ignoring the right path to citizenship and just giving it to them? Since this administration represents that same party, why should anybody be surprised that they oppose a free and fair election?

There has been a history of fraudulent activities but in the last few years it has been ramped up. And for every discovered and reported case, how many went undiscovered? As far as I can tell, pretty much all the people who are right now under indictment for various methods of voter fraud around the nation all belong to one party. It is frightening to think that they care for our government and our system of democracy so little that they would purposely act to manipulate it and render the people impotent.

http://townhall.com/columnists/davidlimbaugh/2012/04/10/holders_corrupt_opposition_to_voter_id_laws Corruption is rampant. And yes, it is the Democrats who are the most cited. Holder and Obama know they cannot win this election, so they have planned, probably back before the FIRST election in 2008, to steal this one.

http://www.votefraud.org/how_a_private_company_counts_our_votes.htm I read somewhere, late last night so I have already forgotten due to having slept, that a company in Spain now counts and verifies our votes. I think it was on the Blaze, cannot be sure.

I wish I could say that I am surprised, but I am not. This is why I have been telling people that Obama will win no matter what. This entire presidency has been planned for decades, they have had time to make sure that he will have the time he needs to fully implement the plan.

We have more than enough evidence that Eric Holder and the White House rely on voter fraud and intimidation to make sure more people vote for them. People fighting against voter fraud and signing up for training programs to watch for it at the polls are also being intimidated and threatened. These are typical Marxist tactics. There must be something honest citizens can do. I just don't know what.

And now we have the Black Panthers getting a pass for threatening to KILL. If that doesn't make someone see how corrupt our president and his people are, nothing will.

In the world we are living today, it is difficult to have free and fair elections. Everyone is hungry of power and they are will to do anything to get into the next government. Video fraud was a little farfetched but it is extremely important to have every producing their ID to avoid such practises.
