Is it true that some are still paid for $10 and more for writing one article? Can anyone help me to get a job like this one which pays well the writers.

There are n number of sites you just need to do some research. Basically there are two types for getting upfront payment: 1) bidding sites like freelancers.com,guru.com,elance.com, odesk.com 2) others are iwriter.com(generally you will get around 8$ but if you improves your ranking you can become high paying writer),constant-content and many more.

Thre are freelance jobs out there that will pay you that amount for a good article if they are looking for it. However, the best way to get paid for articles at this same amount, and on a more regular basis, would be to go to your local newspaper and apply for a journalist job there.

Of course I'll get more than $10 if I write for a local spreadsheet, at least $30 at that. What I'm looking is online without much complications.

Ummm there are "jobs" that pay over $1,000 per article. Technically, if you were a celebrity, you could be paid even $10,000 per article. Like an exclusive interview , you are making money not directly off your talents but your fame. That puts you in high demand. But for "regular" people, who are professionals, they make a decent living all the time, especially if you have a specialized knowledge field like technical writing or copywriting.
