what do you usually do when you don't have money

For me, when I don't have any money, then I do a lot of doing without. What I mean is that my main priority is to make sure that the bills are paid and that we have food to eat. After those important things have been taken care of I try to make sure that there is some money to get things that the kids want but do not necessarily need. It is only after these three things that I will even begin to think about myself. This was something that was really hard for me to do at first, but as time has passed, my self-sacrifice does not really bother me anymore.

When I don't have any money I try to earn money in different ways. In my country many people leave empty bottles in the streets and in the parks, when we return the bottles to the shops we get money for them. Last summer while there was a music festival on my island I collected bottles every day and I earned about $70. It is not enough money to pay the bills, but it was still a big help because we were able to spend the money on food. In the July when the music festival starts again, I am going to collect bottles again. When I don't have money I also try to sell some of my things online, and sometimes I am able to earn some money that way.

I know how you feel. I never seemed to have any money, my husband gets a check once a month and that covers the bills but doesn't leave us any money for the rest of the month. So, I try to earn money from online and borrowing money from my parents and friends for gas, food, etc. I hate asking anybody, especially my parents since they have done so much for us. But there isn't much you can really do but survive, do whatever it takes to make through that month and take it day by day. Evendutally things will get better just have to be patient until it does.

me too i dont have my money, and i badly need it to finance my vacation trips. whenever i dont have money, i just stop and stare and ask myself, why is it so hard to earn money. how i wish that money would just come after us, so life would be easy. haha then after discerning about stuffs and after getting frustrated about why dont i have moeny, i move on. haha have a great day!

You are a great sibling trying to protect you little sister like that. But if i was her, i would just say the same thing that "it's my money, why do you care ?". For me, if i don't have money i would just work for it. Like selling my stuff or collect old debts. Or maybe just call my friends to hang out. But usually i will just open my computer and start playing games or search the best way to earn online. Honestly, i hardly have money issues since my parents is still supporting my daily needs. And When i was in school, i would just buy stuff off ebay and sell it to them a little bit lower than the local market price.

When I don't have money I stay home and try to use up stuff I have. Cook at home, watch tv. That's the most inexpensive way to do it. And as far as your sister is concerned if that is her money in her piggy bank then I think she can spend it however she wants to. Would you want her to tell you how to spend your money you earned? I have money to pay my bills. I work two jobs. Right now I am on top of all my bills. My second job is part-time and I use most of that money as spending money. When I run of money for the month I go nuts and try to scrap money form anything I can,like using my recycling money for spending,instead of putting it in my Christmas count! It sucks I get paid,from my full-time job,once a month so it is easy to go broke between pay day! I don't like being out money and hope someday I win the lottery and be financial freedom for the reast of my life!

Since you're still young, better keep your busy this summer, go for a hobby or something worth your while not needing to spend a dime. You're in mylot, that is one good option as you earn posting. If you don't have money, then let money have you, lol! A lot of old stuffs in the house of no use, better sell them to the junk shop.

Why did you prevent your sister opening her piggy bank? She can save her money day by day even though it is not good big amount yet, but if she do collects regularly day by day, you will be surprised to see a total amount of money that she saved. Currently you can say, you wont buy anything, and your money is still there, but i don't ensure that you wont do shopping later, and your saving money is still zero after a long time...:) I don't have good income currently, just enough for my living only, so that i can't save much money also, but i still do save because it is necessary so far... Hope yours sister and you can save much money...^^

Well, in my opinion, you really can't do anything about that. The fact is, it is her money so she had every right to open her piggy bank or not. It depends on what her purpose to setup that piggy bank of hers to begin with. If it is for emergency purposes, then I am with you and will try to advise her not to open it. But if it is for her savings for expenditure, then there really is no harm at all. So she must be clear on what is the purpose or goal of the money she is saving in her piggy bank. As for me, whenever I don't have money, I try harder to look for some earning opportunities. I usually work harder in work, do some extra services and activities to earn and of course go online to earn online. When you want something that you don't have, there is nothing else to do but to do some action to have it. But I usually don't go in situations like this as I have already built my emergency fund and is trying at the moment to bulk up my investments. I hope I can get to financially stable then free status so I won't say that I don't have money.

It is an obvious necessity that we obviously need money for lots of reason.Primarily we need it to buy food,for shelter and everything but perhaps it is really a great need for the majority.Well what should we do,we work in order to earn it,we venture into lots of things to earn some credit.Or probably we make deals out of nothing to make it productive and profitable isn't it.But then everybody drives his pedal in order to survive and to make a living.Some I would say that does low profile jobs to earn something to help feed their families despite losing their personality and self-esteem though it is a taboo in the society but perhaps they are becoming naive of doing it just to fill their hungry tummy.I would say for finality that every human being strives for survival in order to live.....
