To teach a child : One day of no rules

I was wondering what would happen if mylot were to allow one day where no rules were enforced. I am sure they'd have a heck of a thing to clean up after.
Like a child who has a very big day of play, afterwards there's so much to clean up if one doesn't go behind and tidy up after them after each toy is played with.
I know that it would be a real disaster, but it'd be an interesting experiment to see how many would misbehave, and how fast it'd take for them to!
I imagine we'd see a slew of referral links, so many different languages, and maybe even abbreviations / slang words.
What do you imagine we'd find?

Sometimes admin does miss a day - and he has LOADS of reports to deal with on his return
Even on a normal day when everyone is supposed to follow the guidelines there are still a lot that need deleting.
I dread to think what would happen if your suggestion was to happen. He would probably find so much crap that he would resign - and we don't want that do we??

Oh no we definitely do not! this discussion was actually inspired by a discsusion I saw posted four hours ago in the no response section that I reported. It was a referral link to another site I use.
We all break rules on a daily basis in our life, but mylot is definitely not the place to do it. It's like work, we could be "fired" from our positions here if we don't take care to make sure we've read each guideline and understand it.

OMg..No way they could- they it would be filled with only links of referrers and poll type discussions and etc..
Maybe a one or two which are really worth discussing would come up.And that's it.Even now, like all the other users said ^ above- they find too many discussions violating the guidelines even when they visit regularly and clean it up here-Gosh, if there was going to be no rules a day-then imagine? The next day-admin would have lots and lots of discussions to be deleted.
Perhaps-what i always felt was like-they should give all these newcomers signing up- A DEMO of how the discussions should be- because most of these new comers are not willing to read guidelines and see other discussions to get inspiration. So mylot can create a presentation showing
*Discussions should be like these, responses and comments should extend the topic of discussion-in the form of presentations- and no new fellow could access myLot without seeing all those. That would be better!
*A presentation about the Earnings program- and all those should also be done.Atleast if not a presentation-atleast it should be like no new myLotter can enter this site and start or respond before they have read all those.Something of that sort would avoid all these discussions deletion.Maybe if they read for an hour or 2 before the start-they could be a fine Lotter right from the start.
Perhaps myLot would do it soon!
How would it be then?

We'll mylot put's the rules to be safe and all .I kinda don't want mylot to have one day without rules because things would be a mess.I think thy mylot out all these rules for a reason and we should enforce them. I really like mylot but I also want it to be safe so I really don't care for that idea. However I think that the demo would be a really good idea.

It would be a real disaster. And the next day they would all be corrected anyway. It would be interesting, as you say, to see how many misbehave. I imagine they would act much as they do now. They always find something they can turn around or get twisted. And they really don't care that much.

One thing is for sure- "MyLot" will surely rock :p
Imagine mylotters posting refs links- and new members coming in only to post ref links
We will get to know who really come and join mylot to hook referrals.
Granting Admin will impose this "one day no rule" but- we will not be paid for that day too

I had also thought of all the newcomers that would be present and get the wrong idea, we definitely don't want that. Yes it'd be a "free" day for the mylot admin who pay us out because well they'd have so much to delete, they'd hardly have anyone to pay!

We could use the same analogy when we bring our kids to a park or a play-place where they could run off and do whatever they want. I brought my kids recently to an indoor play place where they threw balls everywhere, climb everywhere and even played roughly with other kids.
I think that if people do not want to follow the set rules and guidelines such as here in myLot, then they sould go to some other website where they could do whatever.

Interesting point. It would be no surprise if little changed. As a site that posts in English (or American English) those for whom the language is not native would probably post the same. For most of my work colleagues, their English (native to the UK) would be inferior to most that would post- so I would not encourage them!
