Tyra just fired Mr. J, Miss.Jay and Nigel....then keeps Kelly

I totally agree, the ratings drop is HER fault not theirs. Her silly antics and stupid things she does are what turns people off. Nigel and Jay were always trying to help teach the girls how to model better. I could do without Miss Jay, honestly, but the other 2 are going to be missed greatly. They have a lot of expertise that I don't think Tyra has. All Tyra teaches them is how to "tooch" or "smize".... I'm not sure how the next season will go. I'll still check it to see who she chooses to replace those guys. She really did screw up last season with that ending! By not explaining what happened to Angelea, everyone was starting rumors and getting mad at the show. The re-taped finale seemed so fake, and then yes to have Lisa win stunk.

I didn't really watch the last few seasons because they weren't shown on Hungarian TV, but if that's true, Tyra is nuts. The last few seasons I watched I watched merely because of the 2 Jays, they were the heart of the show. Mr. Jay was flamboyant and flippy, but at the same time smart and professional and entertaining, and Miss. J. was just phenomenal. Tyra herself wouldn't have been enough. The funniest thing is, I started watching reel of the original show, and I was so shocked Tyra is this annoying without the Hungarian dubbing... she always talks about not being ghetto/hoochie, how important it is, but when it came to her explaining in the first seasons what kind of makeovers the girls would get... if it weren't for the designer clothes, the stylish haircut, the high-end accent and her being a top model, the first thing that would come to everyone's mind would be that this is how a typical loud-mouthed ghetto woman spoke. She's just too self-absorbed. She should be thankful for the 2 Jays and Nigel (whom she always considered her bestest friends and colleagues in the shows... how sincere)...

I just finished watching America's Next Top Model season 18 which the British girl Sophie is the winner. I haven't watched the latest season yet. But I know that three judges will not be available in the new season. I am very disappointed to it since I especially like Mr.J and I don't know the new judges at all. I have no idea who they are. I just learned that one of them is the model, but he is not famous to me. I love China

I see we're lagging behind here :-) They haven't even started showing the allstar season yet. I saw some of the episodes abroad, wasn't too thrilled about any of the contestants. I still Janice Dickinson, I tried to watch Top Model UK to see if the crazy Icelandic photographer would be as evily funny but she isn't really the same. Evil, but not as funny.

I can't believe it, that's why i didn't see those judges, i will definitely miss them. I don't think that they were the reason for the drop of ratings too.. Oh well, they still have their other jobs anyway.

I duuno what to say about this. For me, Nigel barker deserves to be on that show because he is seems not swayed by Tyra's antics and reasoning. I mean, why fire all three in one go? Or is this just another PR so that there is something to talk about next season (happened when Janice Dickinson was out and when Andre Leon Talley came). I guess tah thing with Angelea is major since it is ALL-Star. But with no reason? Are we supposed to read the reaosn in her mind. Yes, this series is her show but she has to give in to her viewers. I still don't understand the Lisa decision. If this is a ploy, she and ehr show must be desperate indeed. I wonder if she regrets quitting her talk show.

I enjoy watching America's Next Top Model and I know for a fact that show is going to be a lot different without those judges on that show. Mr.J and Miss Jay weren't just judges either but they were coaches for the models as well. Miss Jay was there walk instructor and I really think that the show is going to be a lot different without Nigel, Miss Jay and Mr.J. Those were some of the base people for that show and I don't think that people are going to like the change. I don't like the change and will definitely miss seeing those characters.

Well, any shake-up or anything new made or added to a show usually will elicit some interest at first. Whether or not the new look will maintain the initial reaction is up to the new judges she brings in.

I watch her show whenever I meet it being aired but not a constant watcher because I see it as being for aspiring models and girls only. It is positive in some point but not that interesting and that makes me prefer Diddys making the band more than hers. But firing old presenters is a welcome development because people have become used to seeing those same faces over and over again and the only new faces seen are the models who are contesting to be the next top model. Another thing she could do is to make herself a producer and not appear on the show as often as she does, making herself a special guest will make the show look like a brand new show and seem less involving her and lack her influence so much. This would give the show a great boost on the ratings table.
