What a weird way of doing things. Ever think that?

I received credit from ebay. I saw that paypal had received the credit. But it didn't look like they used it during the transaction. So I called paypal. They added the credit first. So say you had $11 and you had a purchase for $11 and $1 credit from ebay. It shows up on the statement as they took $11 out of your account. But if you look at your entire statement history of all recorded transactions, not just the transaction or just the payments, then you can see they added the dollar so you had $12 before the purchase. Instead of taking it away from the purchase price, they add it to the balance first. That seems like a weird way to do it. Have you ever thought something was a weird way to do something?

We're trying to get mains electricity installed. This is involving the local council. A truck arrives at our house. The electricity contractors within asked us if we could tell them the names of all the local landowners who's land they may need to cross so they could go back and give them to the local council. Forgive me for being ignorant, but how the hell am I supposed to know the names of the local landowners, and doesn't the council have access to that information? Weird way of doing business.

I'd just tell them to go to the county tax people, they have the names. Do I look like I have a map of the county with people's names on it at my house? You're soooo right.

The most recent weird thing I can think of is how the combination on the lock changes at the cabin. First you put the new code in, then you delete the old code. It does not always work smoothly either.

It seems like you would delete the old code first and then add the new one. Maybe that's os if there is a problem, you still have a code and can still get in. With it deleted first, that might happen, no way to get in. Strange, but maybe? What do you think?

The only thing is that there is a key for the door that my husband has, and one the other caretaker has, so that would not happen. I do not know why it is set up that, but it gives us fits frequently.

I can imagine that it does create problems.
