How many of you are fans of the wiccan religion? I was actually brought up as catholic, but I just never took to it. I went through life for the longest time with no certain path to God, but then one day, the wiccan religion found me or should I say I was wiccan all along, but just never realized it. I find this religion to be absolutely fascinating. I hope there are others out there who like to start a discussion on this subject.

I'm a wiccan too. i never realized there would be someone else so open to speak about it. i never have cause when i do everyone asks me what it is. I was never raised under any religion but i found wicca and it was like i had found my life. It is really amazing isn't it. I'd love to start a discussion on this topic.

One of the things I like best about this religion is that it is anything, but boring. There's too many interesting things you can learn. It isn't just going to a place to pray...the end. Nature itself gives you so much to be thankful for alone. I also like to do tarot cards and crystal ball gazing once in a while, but it takes a lot of practice. I always keep plenty of candles on hand too. :)

I know. I dont have many candles and i'm busy making my own tarot cards at the moment. Though when i have made a bit of money i'm going to buy some more candles of my own so i can do stuff. I've never met another wiccan before. I dont know where to get a crystal ball. I know this website that has a lot of things about wicca and has it's own online store.

I got a decent size crystal ball on Ebay for $50. Most of the other sites that do sell them, charge double for the size I got on Ebay. I've never heard of making your own tarot cards before. I just stick with the old Rider-Waite tarot deck. I'm the most familiar with this deck, but there are so many others to choose from too. Ya know, alot of wiccans tend to stay in the closet as this religion is often misunderstood by some. Thanks for coming out to talk with me. Now, I don't feel so alone. :)

I was Wiccan at one time before I found out that actual Wiccan involves Covens and just certain deities. Now I do practice in general what people would call Wicca, but I call myself Pagan to get away from the label some times taken as snobby, that I don't agree with.

Hello syramoon, Wiccan actually is fairly new,it is a part of the Pagan faith that can be either in covens or solitary, and each individual picks which Gods and Goddesses they wish to honor. There are many paths one can take, all starting from the Pagan faith. Many Blessings on your choice. mac

Welcome to a great World lmw814. Like you,I was brought up both a Catholic and Protestant,But never cared for either,I was Atheist for many years, later after the war,I became an Agnostic, until I realized I had always been a follower of the Native Shaman Faith, which became Wiccan and more so into Solitary Witch. Many Blessings. Mac
