At the moment I am reading Lonely Planet bluelist. I enjoy reading about the different destinations. I know that I am never going to visit all of those places, but it is still interesting to read the descriptions. There are lists of the most eccentric places to stay, islands, mountains, paranormal travel, best adventure travel ideas, the most beautiful buildings and lots of other things. I am reading the book from 2007 right now, and when I finish that one I am going to read the one from 2008 and the one from 2009. I have found them at my local library, and I look forward to reading the next two books. Do you like to read books about travelling? Did a book about travelling inspire you to visit a place or a country? Which place did you read about and why did you become interested in that place?

I love reading travel books and have many of them on my book shelf. Also from my local library I often borrow travel guide books. For Christmas last year I got given a number of glossy books showing and describing destinations in the world that are tempting to visit. I got out of the library a book about three different countries and it made me book a flight to the Seychelles. Also I saw the Seychelles in paintings in an art gallery. I would be keen to read Lonely Planets ideas of the most deserted islands and the most beautiful buildings. I read a book set in Kenya and it made me visit it.

Yes, there are so many places worth visiting that a few countries can be visited this year and many more countries in the coming years. I am also very keen on the idea of visiting Mauritius since I have loved it in the Seychelles and the Maldives. My travel wish list for the future is also very long. I am so happy to say that I have been able to visit places in Central America and South America. Reading the glossy books lets me add new destinations to my list.

The library is a great place to find books about travelling. When I visit my local library I always look for new books about travelling. I like books like Lonely Planet bluebook where I am able to read about many different destinations, and sometimes I find new inspiration that way. My travel wish list is already long, but I still add new destinations when I hear or read about a place that sounds interesting. I also like to read travel guide books, I read about every country that I am interested in including places that I am not going to visit in the near future. Seychelles sounds like an interesting place to visit. I am also interested in visisting Maldives and Mauritius.

I've looked at articles and magazines about traveling, but I don't think I've ever read a book on it. But, I do love traveling and I would like to go to as many places as possible in my lifetime. It does need some money to travel, but, with my friends, we try to travel with the least expenses possible. But, maybe I'd like to get to read what you read and be able to plan the next places to visit!

We have something in common because I also love travelling and it is one of my big dreams to visit as many places as possible I already have a long travel wishlist, but when I read books about travelling I get new inspiration and add even more places to my list. I live in Europe and I have visited many of the other European countries, my next goal is to visit countries outside Europe. I think it is interesting to read books about travelling, I don't think that will be able to visit every part of the world during my life, but I really enjoy reading about other parts of the world, and if I ever win a lot of money I will spend it on travelling

I almost don't read books about travelling, and travelling books don't inspire me to visit that place or country. But novels can inspire me to travelling. Because I easily indulge in this places that stories take place. BTW, I like Egipt.

Yes, novels can also be inspiring. When I read a novel that takes place in another country I sometimes get interested in that country. Some time ago I read a couple of novels that took place in Africa. One of them was from Mozambique and the other one was from Malawi. When I had read the novels I became interested in visiting those countries especially Malawi. Maybe I will visit those countries one day. I am sure Egypt is also an interesting place to visit. My ex-boyfriend has been there, and he enjoyed his visit very much.
