The top 5 examples of Presidential Extravagence include: 1. Trip to Spain to stay at a super-exclusive resort for 5 days. http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/08/06/michelle-obamas-lavish-spain-vacation-sparking-criticism/ 2. Obama's New York city "date night." (I'm trying to be nice and post non political link) http://obamafoodorama.blogspot.com/2009/05/obama-date-night-dinner-in-new-york.html 3. A poetry session at the White House featuring the rapper "Common" who sang the praises of cop killers. http://dailycaller.com/2011/05/09/burn-a-bush-michelle-obama-invites-rapper-common-to-a-poetry-reading/ 4. The 17 day trip to Hawaii, staying in a house costing $75,000 a month. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/so-whos-footing-the-bill-for-the-obama-familys-4-million-hawaii-vacation/ 5. Martha's Vineyard http://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/washington-whispers/2011/08/11/obamas-vineyard-vacation-will-cost-taxpayers-millions And the world is watching http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2029615/Michelle-Obama-accused-spending-10m-public-money-vacations.html While some of the cost was born by the Obama's, all the security and most of the travel came courtesy of you and me. So live it up Mr. and Mrs. Obama. Just don't expect my vote in November. What you might expect is that the next president present you with a bill to payback the taxpayers for your extravagance. I can see trips and vacation, but they just seemed to have went over the top on this. Especially times when they did not travel together and caused additional trips and expenses. I also, like Pelosi losing her plane. She can buy a coach ticket like everyone else.

I've always said he thinks he's king, and she wants so badly to stay in the white house, she instigated the Hillary Rosen fiasco. Or so it is said.

You know, I just can't help but remember all the liberals screaming about how much time Bush spent at his HOME when he took vacations. Apparently, going home for a vacation is a crime, but expensive vacations on the taxpayer's dime are perfectly cool.

It is a fact, they would not tolerate from Bush, they find every excuse for Obama. btw, a little off topic (but my mind works this way, ) did you know there are such things as paid trolls who work for Obama? http://lonelyconservative.com/2012/04/how-the-left-works-continued/ Is that his jobs program?

The liberal media have consistently ignored what would be reported on if Obama were to have been a Conservative President. Think about it.

I think it make sense if vacations were one of the perks promised to you when you were being groomed to be the front man of the socialist revolution...

Just like good old Soviet Russia, the people can't afford gas but the high commander goes where ever he wants.

George Orwell had it right in his book "1984." The only thing he missed on was the right year. The proper year should have been 2008. As Benjamin Franklin apparently said: "Those who willingly give up their freedoms for safety, deserve neither."

I must admit that Ben Franklin might have been an interesting character, I really would not have tried arguing with him without having all my facts lined up and ready.

Obama is spending money like a drunken sailor on leave, and it's not his money that he is spending. It used to be our money, but he doesn't care. He talks about the public entitlement but, it seems to be him who is feeling entitled.
