I have a Zodiac that was given to me 10 years ago, and it isn't bad, but I would love to invest in a juiceman juicer.

I love to juice, but recently found that using my blender to make smoothies is ever better, so I am hoping to get a good blender too, but don't know what kind to get..

$79 isn't a bad price. My husbands cousin is getting me into juicing. She has Kuvings juicer and a press. So she jucies and then presses the pulp. That's a lot of extra work lol She recommended the Jack la lane juicer because it has a wide mouth, but says it can be a pain to clean. I've been looking around. Looks like a masticating juicer is the way to go, but they are way more than I want to spend. I was going to spend some time price shopping and checking on eBay and craigs list to see if I can get a cheap used one.

If you can afford a masticating juicer, that's the way to go. I don't want to drop over $200 on one and I haven't been able to find one cheaper locally - even on Craig's list. Over the weekend I tried out the Hamilton Beach and the Jack La Lane. They seems to be about the same quality. The mouth seems a bit wider on the Hamilton Beach. Is it hard to clean, not really. There is one more piece to take apart. Seems like regardless of which one you buy, you are taking apart the entire machine every time you want to clean it. I suggest juicing for the entire day at one time.

Wow, so the one I want to hard to clean? Glad I found out before investing in it. So you already know a good one, the "masticating juicer" is what I should look for? Because I hate cleaning and the easier to clean, the better for me!!!

Well ther are many different models out there. You can always just browse in like a bed bath and beyond, or similar 'home ec' store. If you want a powerful one, go to a jamba juice and ask them what brand they have...you know it is good quality to stand up to all of those smoothies!

Looking at reviews aren't exactly helpful except to tell you if the machine is good or junk. I want more information than that. For example: how much juice is left in the pulp? How much pulp is put in the juice?
Jamba juice is going to have commercial juicers, which isn't what I want. Also, I allergic to Jamba juice. Everything I have every had there I broken out in hives. Only smoothie place I have the issue. I think its whatever pesticide the company they buy produce from uses because the fruit I get in the smoothies are fruits I eat all the time with no problems.

I bought a juicer several months ago. At that time I learned a promotion via the net from Amazon and I was quite interested in that juicer. The price was nice and it was a famous brand, too. I read the feedback from other customers and their comments were positive. This is why I decided to buy it. Perhaps you can look it up from the online stores and you shall buy a nice juicer.
I love China
