Perhaps it's going to be a job without a salary then! Well, sleep is indeed necessary for a man (or woman for that sake,so don't ask me the counterpart of that question). So whomsoever he or she is,sleep is indeed necessary for them. That's because you should know without rest you could not do any job the next day. Some people say i'm fine without a sleep.Or some others say i'm fine when i just have a nap. That's not the case though. When it is going to be a day, you'll (okay,i'll also) be fine with no sleep,or just a nap of an hour or so timing. When it comes to a month,i am sure you couldn't be without sleeping? So more than a job, it has become our routine.Just like we can't live without air,we can't be without sleep as well.Okay if someone's going to do the counterpart again, then they may surely be mentally depressed. Now, for the sleeping beyond time: Well, average sleep is from 6-8 hours of time.So when you are going to sleep more than this time, maybe for "SOME" the day would be sluggishly moving like they are again sleepy the whole day.But for persons like me, if i have a hour of 10 sleep, then i would be fresh indeed.I would take silly naps as well.So there are people who will need lot of sleep and there are some others who wll feel the other way round. That's dependent on your body.So how will you feel when you sleep for more than 8 hours? Oh, your mind will function properly only if you know that "They are all SCAM SITES!-(sleeping and others)"Haha! Well, for this one now:Paid for being asleep-maybe the children who continuously trouble their parents! Paid for sleep! A nap or whatever..Tasting food-oh yes!In 5-str hotels you have an attendant job there for tasting foods and only after you taste, they are going to serve.. DISCLAIMER :Even the food is going to be poisoned, you will have to taste it first (WINK) Not just tasty food, the food that is too bad also should be tasted by you first.. You could better have myLotting as your job! (Lol!)

I wish there are really jobs that doesn't require too much effort and no stress like sleeping..I always feel tired and sleepy lately, I don't know why. Maybe, like you, I wanted to go on vacation from my job. My job is really not stressful, but I really am tired of doing it everyday already . I wish I am qualified with jobs like food tasting or just reading books and simple stuff like that. But, guess I have to stick with what I know I can do most for now..finding a job is really too hard now a days and finding money is never as easy as sleeping

I felt that why don't they give some money for watching the street from my floor lol. But I think it would be something not worthy to get such money without our work. May be you will get that kinda work sooner with some real work.

Hi Jazel, when i was still staying in my old place, i ever heard there is such a job. But it is only a part-time job, usually for a few days only. What you need to do is, sleep around for a day on every new mattresses and the next day, you will need to give your opinion about each mattresses. It may sounds very interesting job but not easy to grab. Because that kind of easy job have many people waiting to fill it. So far, i never tried that job since it needs someone who are available on anytime that they needs the opinion.

Ha ha, wouldn't that be nice?! I would be SO good at my job if all it involved was sleeping..I love sleeping! It's probably my favorite hobby. *sigh*. I just can't imagine anyone paying you to sleep, though, you know? (So you'd better keep your day job). . Happy MyLotting!

Do you know about the kids show "The Wiggles" from Australia? There's an Asian guy in the group (Jeff Wiggles, who's really Jeff Fatt) - and he is known for his "falling asleep" on everyone. So everyone has to wake him up from time to time . . . 1 2 4, wake up, Jeff!!!! And geez, I always thought I wish I could have that Jeff guy's job . . . I know I can "act" like I'm sleeping - ha ha!!! Can anyone pay me just for being "me"???

They actually do have jobs that involve sleeping. I read about it once, I think it involved testing mattresses. I don't know how you find these jobs but I'm sure they are very hard to find otherwise everybody would be doing it. Good luck though.

I knew this guy that was on staff as a social worker in a group home if there were problems over night. He said it was a good home most of the time and slept there. They would wake him up if there were any problems.

I'm with you. If there is really sleeping or reading as a job, then I would stand in the first line getting those jobs. I would really kill for them. Tasting food, or in my country it's called culinary tour, has already been a job for some lucky people. So I would choose the sleeping or reading.

I would not succeed at a sleeping job, but possibly a reading job, or even a food tester job. I saw a lady on TV on a game show who used to taste test fried chicken. Now I am hungry. Oh, bother.

Yes, sleeping while on duty and many a man follow this practice in their jobs, so it may be treated as earning by sleeping. Am I wrong in my explanation?

It's really good if there are real jobs that offers payment for just doing what we want like sleep, eat, etc. I don't know if there really are jobs like that but I want to have a job like that.

One of my friends in CA says his job as a security guard is so easy a monkey could do it. He doesn't do too much all day and can even go on the computer and play video games if he wants. He takes walks on his breaks sometimes and calls me once in awhile while walking. I wish I had that kind of job. Only about once a year something "wild" happens if that.

aw but then as security guard he should be vigilant right and should not be playing games, he is not doing as he is supposed to do..and if some unforeseen event will happen, he might get blamed.
