Hello jricky, yes that would be a fun way to visit another country and get to know their culture. Otherwise just visiting for a few days as a tourist you actually get to know very very little of their culture or almost nothing because whatever is presented before you as a tourist is not the real image, at least most of the times.
Why don't you check out wwoof.org they have this fantastic concept of working on organic farms where you can work in exchange of lodging and boarding and even food. Check it out, you may find something nice. :)

Yes that is true, money would be more welcome. :) You could probably think of something that can get you jobs such as tutoring, teaching languages etc. something that are good at. All the best!

I love travelling and I have also studied abroad for 1 year, it was an amazing experience! If I had the opportunity, I would definitely work abroad for a few years. However, I am not sure if I could live in another country forever, eventually I would like to come back to my home country.

Travelling and staying abroad is a mind-opening experience. I was able to realise many good and bad things about my own country, my way of living and because I had the opportunity to see something different than usual, I also tried to change my living habits towards best. Good luck and I hope you will be able to fulfill your desire.

I agree with you. As you can learn more about another country during the time when you work abroad. And perhaps this experience will be helpful for you to find a good job here when you are back. But it will not be so ideal to work abroad for a long time since you still have a family here.
I love China

When I was young I worked in other European countries. It was an amazing experience and I learned so much. My first job in another country was in Estonia and that was a challenge because I didn't speak Estonian when I arrived. In the beginning it was difficult for me to understand my co-workers and the residents (I worked in a home for adults with special needs) but after a while I learned some of the language. I was never able to speak Estonian fluently, but after a coupple of months I was able to understand the conversation around me and express myself in broken Estonian. It was a great experience and it was really interesting to get to know another culture that way.
