I think that he should choose Sarah Palin because she is well like by the conservatives and the tea party.

With all do respect, you really want them to make the same mistake they made last time?

YES! you catch on fast. Well who else is available that is well like and is popular. I bet you if Pres. Obama wish could get Sect. of State Hillary Clinton to be his running mate rght now, he sure would.

I think they need someone competent more than popular with conservatives. I don't even think Sarah Palin has over a 50 percent approval rating among conservatives as being competent to handle the VP role. She may have over a 50 percent approval rating in likability but not competence. I am positive if Romney nominates her two things will happen. There will be a lot of upset Republican members of congress and Romney will just of forfeited the election. Plus he will give himself a headache for having to try to keep her on message.

I'm not totally disagreeing, but it seems to me during this entire primary season, Sarah Palin has been MORE on message than the candidates. Just saying....

If you really want Romney to lose, he should pick Joe Biden. There are few people as gaffe-prone and misinformed as old Joe. Of course, he is the only Obama administration that constantly entertains. He's like the comic relief.

It isn't diarrhea of the mouth, it is STUPIDity. Some people are just not that bright. Joe's one of them. Narcissist like Obama usually surround themselves with dim wits so they will feel superior all the time.

Joe Biden is smarter than you think. He just likes to talk to much. He never shuts up. Sometimes it makes him seem like he is not that bright because he does not think before he talks. I think many people have that problem in our congress and in general. There may have been smarter people that Obama could have picked for VP but sometimes you need someone that you are not always going to be butting heads with. He also tends to wear his emotions on his sleeve and this is why so many on the right do not like him because he has no problem calling them out when he thinks they are wrong.

Misinformed not so much. Gaffe prone definitely. That's the problem with having diarrhea of the mouth. Then again that is why so many people like him. He keeps it interesting.

Obama. No, I'm totally serious, I meant Obama. The two are so similar on so many issues that one might as well pick the other as a running mate and be done with it. Obamney 2012! As for some of the other suggestions I have seen: Palin = might as well start writing his consession speech now. Rubio = will get the garden variety base, but that's about it. Allen West = hmmm, not so sure. A little wider a net but still wouldn't get my vote. Ron Paul = reverse the ticket, and then take Romney off it. There is no way this will ever happen. The two are so different on most issues that I can't see any real degree of compatibility.

I hope that he elects Paul Ryan so that the Ryan budget will help direct the debate in this country as to where our priorities lie... cutting the deficit or providing the care and support for people from heating assistance and food for women, infants and children to health care for women and the elderly. OK, I guess you can see which side of the argument I fall on, eh?

He needs to pick a strong conservative like Rubio or Ryan. Even Christie would do. Someone who would be appealing to the Tea Party and the social conservatives of Santorum. I'd like to see Alan West, but truthfully, he does have some baggage, not that I care that he shot over the top of a terrorist's head, but a lot of voters would. Sarah Palin would be a wonderful choice if only her intelligence and patriotism was under consideration, but she too has some baggage that would be THE issue instead of 'THE' issue. If you know what I mean. VP's are important during the campaign, then fade away from the limelight. UNLESS they're like Biden or Gore...

Yeah,if he would pick Ron Paul this would sure make Ron Paul supporters ecstatic. But looks like Mitt Romney is leaning toward Marco Rubio.
