Sharon Bucks -- tasks

I remember in the first half of 2011 we use to have Sharon Bucks tasks -- writing articles -- Payment was really good $2.50 for 500 words. One day there were seven tasks and all had to be completed within 12 hours or so. I had to struggle a lot and submitted all but one task. Three of my tasks were accepted. Other three were rejected. Though I did not cut copy paste the material, it was considered so and I was not allowed to do similar tasks thereafter. Of course, I started taking up some other writing jobs to get mental satisfaction and am busy, no doubt.
Today I scanned through the dashboard of mylot tasks. Sharon Bucks tasks are not there and article writing tasks are given $0.25 only for rewriting 500 words. or $0.20. why this trend in the market? Is it more writers have come or writing has become cheaper nowadays, in spite of inflation?
Please share your ideas on this trend in the writing world.

After long time i am am hearing about shoron bucks, sharon bucks is famous for tasks, now a days i am not participating in tasks,still i have not understand the tasks,so no taks at present, now a days due to lack of time i am guest in this mylot site,when ever i got time to visit the site,i think you are very active in tasks ,earn more in tasks,have a nice day

I am not active in tasks. today I took one task of mysdianit --posting comments for fun. Otherwise I am busy in writing for competition exams.
Suddenly I remembered about Sharon Bucks today morning and I started the discussion.

There is quality factor here. Sharon expects some quality. In this other task, the requester edits for required quality. Perhaps you could try other sites like mturk, and iwriter.com. They too look for quality works. Expertscolumn is another one.
As to demand and supply - yes, as of now, there are too many content writers. But the trend will change. Meanwhile, hang in there. :)

I have successfully tackled several of sharon buck's tasks but later I found them tiring as she was expecting so many key words to be added. The following key words were expected to be added in one of her 300 words tasks. I successfully completed the task but it certainly was a strain.

Hiya ravisivan, I'm not sure what they do in the tasks area now, but when Sharon bucks was there I have tried a few tasks but none of them were excepted. So i just never tried again, I guess i started thinking that it was and may still be a waste of time for some...blessings!

You are from USA and naturally your writing may be of a good quality.
for me he accepted 4 of my articles and I got $10 also. but the mistake I did was to accept too many taks on one day and not being able to complete it to their satisfaction. I had a lot of pressure on that day.
True once they decide negatively, they may not accept our work however good it may be.

for me all that internet income is for fun spend the time, because even making 50 bucks a day it won't worth sitting in front of a screen, i have been here for a year and never have more than 300 articles, i make more money from my blog than i could ever make on any type of site.

I had a great time doing her tasks and almost 90% of my earnings here were because of her tasks. Her tasks became difficult and boring with time as there were several key words that needed to be put in. I found that to be a great strain - not so much about writing but it literally interfered with my writing style. I gave up.
The present tasks that I see are easy which one can do in a short time although the payment is less. No key words to be added and that is a great relief indeed.

Most of my work was approved of but when she started with those big list of key words I found it a strain. It went against my own style of writing. No doubt we earn but we should also enjoy what we are doing.

nice you had good times doing her work. It was a strain for me because I had taken in one night seven articles. I worked upto 12 pm that day night tried my best. still it was not okayed.

How are you? I did not have the opportunity to participate in Sharon Buck task since I was not a member of Mylot at that time. I think the falling of the prices has to do with what you have said. The market is already flooded with so many people writing articles nowadays.

I am ok. I am free nowadays because colleges are having semester exams. I do not have any classes. I do some writing now and then and enjoy my time in mylot.

i remember sharon bucks clearly. i have done some of her/his tasks too, the earning is great.
but for me, it was rather difficult to completed compare to other tasks maker like:

I have a funny feeling it boils down to the basic economic theory of supply and demand. The more people out there offering their services the cheaper the labor becomes. I have no doubt this also reflects in the quality of the work. Maybe people also have less need to hire writers as they have less "published" work out there(?)
You could always start writing for sites such as triond, sure the pay is not great but at east the pay keeps on coming month after month(if you have web traffic etc). Have no fear the sunrise is near as I have a feeling there will be more tasks again in the coming months.

yes. you have given the economic theory. supply is more, demand is less. may be right.
Triond -- my experience has not been good because I am not good inviting people to come and read my work. Again you must have a circle of friends there also to read your writing, comment of your writing, you must read others writing.
mylot is good in one way though we may earn lesser amount.
