I know there will be benefits from waking up early. there has to be. since i got no nanny, i have to wake up a bit earlier than usual, usual is 5..so now its 4:30. I had to set the alarm for that. this morning i did that and i was able to cook for the family, then do chores so later tonight i wont do it, i swept inside and outside the house.. and soak some white laundry. phew so much for early morning but someones got to do it. So that my cousin who is looking after my kid won't need to do anything other than look after my kid.. while i am looking for a permanent one. but hubby chipped in too he woke up the same time as i did, he also helped me sweep outside and also help cook breakfast, and we enjoyed coffee in the morning - our first as we are not coffee drinkers in the morning!

You lack sleep then... You should take a nap in the afternoon to make up for that so you would also feel less sleepy at night. It's really hard being a mother.

I suppose you'll start to be coffee drinkers then! I know the feeling of having to wake up really earlier then one wishes too, but I'm glad you got the chores done and I am sure you feel better about it. Your early rise, only means a maybe earlier bedtime and more comfort, as sleep deprivation sometimes helps with good sleep! Not that it's a healthy habit!

Nope, i do the cooking when the nanny was still here.. she was just the one who do the sweeping while the kid is still sleeping, my kid usually wakes up around 7:30.. so she can still help around the cleaning and stuff.. but now she is gone, i will do all.. as for the coffee, i am not a coffee drinker but i tried it this morning as i think i need that jolt to be fully awake

It's good to know you found a temporary nanny whom you know to look after your kids. There are really so many advantages of waking up early. You see, you have done a first with your husband even after years of being together. Hopefully you won't feel sleepy during your working hours.

There are definitely benefits to waking up early. One of them is for the same thing you mentioned. When a person wakes up early, they are able to get more done in a run of the day. Ever heard of that saying "early bird gets the worm". They also say that the real successful people in this world wake up early. Will Smith says the difference between him and the average joe is that he wakes up earlier, and he is working while everyone else is sleeping.

I do agree with that and i was early at the office too as i was also able to leave early from home, i was able to do things ahead of time which i am pleased. I just hope i won't feel sleepy early tonight!

I have always been told and believe, "the early bird catches the worm". Yes, there is so much that can get done if we start our day early, it definitely has it's benefits and it feels good to accomplish so much.

I was very lazy to get up early in the morning once i finished my college life and may be i was in depressed mood of just coming out of college life and missing all my college friends was very hard to take for me. But later on i got adjusted with life and started getting up early and go for early walk and then exercise routine followed which i enjoyed very much. By doing all these activities i do get happiness and also remain active throughout the day. The joy of getting up early is real fun and one can experience this only after he starts getting up early in life or else this fun will be lost. We will remain energized by getting up early

I'm not a morning person I used to have a evening work then back when I'm still in the big city. But when I moved here in my town, I enjoyed the benefit of waking up early. I can feel the morning sun outside while watering my plants and sweeping the leaves. I also enjoyed the soy (taho) and rice cake (puto) vendor. I can go to the market early to catch the fresh fish and meat. There are a lot of things to do when you woke up early.

I am a morning person. I love those hours but I am off to my bedroom by 9. 5 is my wake up time and the first thing I do is I have tea and switch on my pc for any possible interaction with myLot. Then starts my normal chores which are filled with pleasant activities. Remember I have pets and a huge garden to tend to!. Our help will be in by 9. I need to line up jobs for them.

how i wish i could switch on the pc and mylot at that time of the morning, it would be nice for a change as it will be quiet as the kids will still be sleeping but no internet at home!

As you will see it is not yet 5 here and I am already at the pc.I had my piping hot cuppa! I like my morning hours.I am fresh and I can concentrate better. myLot gives me a nice time early in the morning. Why is it that you do not have an internet connection at your house?

So you see jazel. At least not having a permanent nanny yet has its advantage. It elicited initiative in your husband to help in the household chores. Most of all, you get to enjoy coffee in the morning, which is your first!
