In some ways, it would be something that I would want to go back to the innocent days, where I didn't really care about all of the real world things that I care about right now. You know, the good old days. Of course, should I really get a chance to go back at any time, I might be reminded about something. About the fact that being a child has its own set of drawbacks. Then again, so is being an adult. You have to take the negative with the positive throughout life. When you are younger, you are impatient, you want everything to speed up but in the older you get, you want everything to slow down. As a child, I seemed to have all of the time in the world but now as an adult, that time is rather cut short. The pressure is on and things are problematic.

it was great to go back to childhood, no major issues, fun, new friends, but not everything was, it was good, as everything has its good and bad sides.

@megamatt yes life is so different now what we were before and what we are now just unimaginable, earlier we were just fond of fun and nothing more and now we are fond of love, pleasure, money blah blah, and burden of problems eats the life.

Nope, my childhood wasn't the best but my teenage years and adult years have been very good. Everything fell into place as I entered adulthood and wouldn't change anything. In other words, I would do it all over again. I am retired now and it's been a fun ride. Time is pretty much mine now, have enjoyed being a grandma and sharing my time with the kiddies. Very rewarding.

When i saw this topic here, i picked it up instantly as it attracted me very much. Who doesn't want to be child again ! i am trying to recollect my childhood day's and how much i used to enjoy those younger day's..i am missing all those tension free day's. Now day's are just passing without much things happening. As we grow old, we do realize our foolish things done in younger day's and how we could correct all those silly unwanted things if we are given one more chance to live life. Each moments have to be enjoyed as if it is our last as day once passed will not come back as life is just like a flowing river..memories are the only thing which will remain with us every time and it is nice to recollect all our golden memories of past day's when we are alone here

I have many happy memories from my childhood, but I wouldn't like to a be a child again. As a adult I have responsibilities, problems and worries that I didn't have when I was a child, but today I also have the freedom to make my own decisions and that is really important to me. My parents were quite strict when I was a child, there were many things that I was allowed to do, and I think that is one of the reasons why my freedom and my independence are so important to me today. When I think about my childhood I remember about the happy times that I had when my friends and I played in the garden etc, and I treasure those memories, but I don't want to go back to my childhood. I am happy that have more experience today, and I am happy that than I am more mature and more independent today.

To think of my childhood was my scape during pressured moments in my life, wishing if only i could have a day to be a little child again free from real responsibility and lot of pressure. But my answer to the question if i want to be a child again in reality is NO maybe a visit. That idea possibly came out during our desperate point in life but then if we keep coming back from where we start, we can hardly arrive or maybe never.Life is a process as it is, even in our childhood we are not free from worries and pressured, the thing is not much is expected to us but as we grow up responsibilities grow also in number that makes us feel pressured and worry, that is why in every challenge we have to learn from it because in the next steps it might be CHALLENGE become CHALLENGES.Life could never be life without mistakes, its a combo but if your putting to much mistake on it, it will taste bitter. That is why we have to learn from our mistakes and change and have a good adventure....

I also miss my childhood. In my childhood I haven't enjoy my life much as what others do. My parents and older brothers and sisters are quite strict to me since I'm the youngest. I haven't played much. Today, when I see other children playing I also want to play with them. Some people says that I am already old acting like a child. But some thinks that it's great. But I'm still happy with the things that happened in my childhood. I also don't want to correct the things that I've done wrong before because those things made the whole me being me. It's part of growing up.
