Is Dec 2012 Going To Be The Month Of Doomsday?

i have heard all this mayan calender stuff and not only can't i believe it, i can't even understand it. the only thing i know about it is that it says the world is going to end on dec 2012. i forgot what day they said. people have been predicting the end of the world since it began. what makes this day and age any different. i do believe we are going through some changes, but what kind. is it the end or actually the beginning?

The way I understand it is that the Mayan Calender ENDS on that date. I really don't believe this to be true. SOme people say there will be a comet on or around that date too. I really believe that these people are demented and are just needing something to stress over.

again some more light has been shed. so, you say the mayan calender just ENDS on that date? so this means that it is just that. it just ended, but never predicted the end of the world. hmmmmm. very good point.

Seriously, I find it lame already. They could have atleast think of more positive thoughts in the future that getting those doomsday predictions. That's so crazy to begine with. I wonder what will happen it it really came true. Then you were wishing that I never happen then.
I still believe that we will live more years than those silly predictions without any concrete basis. Happy mylotting while still alive :)

Even I have heard a lot of stories about Dec'12 being the end of the world, But personal I don't think we will loose everything. There might be a massive destruction on this mighty planet and I believe that it is natures reaction for the massive exploitation that humans have done so far.
I will just keep my fingers crossed and wait for Dec'12...

Well, there is no proof of any as what the Bible says that no one knows when the world will end.
And even the coming of Christ,no one knows and He will only come as a thief in the night.
We just need to be prepare always.
