Fell off the ground

My friend from Germany gave me this beautiful 4 1/2" high heeled shoes. I wore it today to go shopping. And when I was walking at the parking lot looking for my car with two heavy grocery bags, and my daughter were calling me and when I looked at her, I fell off the ground coz I wasn't paying attention at the curb. And I fell on my knees and it really hurt so bad. My husband got so angry why I wasn't paying attention and why I was wearing high heels! I was in pain and still said that, "I hope I didn't break my shoes".. hahahahahhahahha My husband started laughing why I was so worried about my shoes that I was hurt already. LOL Sadly, I broke the shoes. :-( From now on, I will never wear these high heeled shoes on grocery store. Geez! I was glad that nobody saw me because I will be very embarrassed.
Did you ever fell on public while wearing high heeled shoes?

No I have fallen without wearing them, that is why I can't wear them in public. I have weak ankles especially my right one. I have fallen on it without any shoes on at all in the yard, if you can believe. Not tripping over anything. So you see, I can't wear those kind of shoes or I'd be on crutches all the time. I do love them, though.

You can shop better if you wear comfortable shoes, and then you do not hurt your feet or your back.

My Mother began teaching school in 1923. High heeled shoes were vogue, and she wore them while she taught for several years. For ever after that she had problems with her feet, and suffered for the rest of her life. If you want to ruin your feet, and hobble around in pain for the rest of your life, wear your spiked shoes!

You totally missed the point, which was - human legs and feet are not built to walk on high-heeled shoes! These unnatural shoes will ruin your feet! Do you want to suffer pain, and hobble for the rest of your life (just for the sake of wearing this weird footwear?) Who cares how it looks, if its going to ruin your feet!

I don't even have to have heels to fall. I do not do it much now, but I know I have. I fell last winter when I was out taking a walk. I tripped over a crooked sidewalk, then kind of half staggered and fell in the snow. It was night time, no one was around. I hurt, but I do not think anyone saw me.

4 1/2 inches! My goodness that is too high for me. The highest that I could ever afford to wear is two and more than that is already a torture for me. What an experience you had with that high heeled shoes! It's 3 months since that happened but for sure you learned a good lesson you will never really forget.

Yeah, that is a bad idea, wearing really high heels when you know you might carry heavy stuff on the way back.
But I also do that, my heels aren't that tall though, just 3 inches.. i do slip-rarely.
..but I am not really hurt since i wear jeans..

I feel it is really bad when you fell in front of public. Once when I was running through my street my slippers was broken causing to loss my balance, which results me to lie on the ground. When I was on the floor the public was around me. I find it was my worst day for ever. I cursed my self why it happened so.
So now I am conscious about the things which I do in front of the public.

Hmmm let me think of that. It never happened to me while walking but it is when I'm dancing. I do always wore a high heeled shoes, aside from being small I'm used to wear it even slippers it has to be 2 inches tall. It happened when I'm dancing somebody step on my foot that It caused me to fall and take note there a lot of people who saw me
well so that accident nobody wants it to happened.
take care next time.

i always high heels, why to walk in fear that you would fall anytime and the stress on the heels is too much and your leg will get twisted and not only that and you will also feel embarrassed infront of the crowd.so i dont wear high heel shoes in crowded places ,i wear only for some special occasions and wherever i feel comfortable to walk in with.four and half is too much of a big size, isnt it?
