From what i know, those foods that originates from the insides of the animals, such as the intestines, liver and lungs are very high in uric acid. Legumes too, such as string beans i think , is also high in uric acid.
But to be sure, surf the net for foods high in uric acid and for sure you will be given a long list.

The lists I have found are confusing and somewhat conflicting. Many of them seem to suggest that foods which are otherwise good for us nevertheless contain high levels of purines - broccoli, for example.
If one were to follow all the advice I have found, one would probably end up eating nothing!
One should certainly avoid organ meats and large quantities of red meat. It's doubtful whether anyone would eat enough broccoli or asparagus to materially affect their uric acid levels!

Brocolli and asparagus are high in uric acid?! Oh my! They are my favorites.
But what's good is my uric acid is always at the normal level.

Those foods that are rich in protein are those we usually crave for - dried fruits, eggs, fich, beans, processed meats and many others. I believe that consulting a doctor will give you a thorough explantion of everything regarding food to avoid. Still, nothing beats, eating those food in moderation.
