I'm Flying! Except backwards.

So who here absolutely loves flying dreams? I certainly do. As a frequent lucid dreamer, I tend to try to fly once I've realized that I'm dreaming. Except I usually have very little control over my dreams and I usually wind up crashing or only jumping up and down a few times. Recently, I've been jumping up during a lucid dream and achieving lift-off! Except I fly backwards. The instant I jump up the dream landscape starts zooming by in the opposite direction with no effort on my part. It's almost like being in a lazy chair, relaxing on the air.
Anybody else had a dream they were flying backwards? Any strange flying dreams you can share?

I have not really had a dream where I was flying backwards. I have had dreams where I was rather flying. I have had dreams where I have been going backwards, whether I would have been knocked backwards or really just walking backwards. However, the two of those things rather just really not combined where I really had a dream where I was flying backwards.
That would really just be a fascinating dream to have however. Then again there have been many dreams that have rather gone right through some rather surreal moments right through my dreams. It really is right to the level of supreme absurdity. Things being thrown right in reverse really just seems like the world is being turned right around. It is a rather fascinating experience.

Dreams are pretty fascinating in all their surreal glory. I can't recall just simply going backwards in a dream, just the flying backwards I've been doing recently. It's kind of cool, like sitting back and relaxing while the world rushes by.

I've only had one flying dream and that was the "elevator" type, where I shot straight up in the air until the Earth was just a green and white sight and I could see the planet curving under me, rather like pictures from space. Not tiny like on the Moon, but you could see the curvature of the Earth.

Sounds like it was fun. I think I've had a dream like that.

Interesting, having a Dream where you are flying backwards? Could that mean in your life there are some things that have happened and you keep on looking back instead of forward and you need to look forward and concentrate on the Good things in life and figure out how to turn everything for the best?
I have never had a dream where I flew backwards, but this is an interesting thought and concept for sure.

I'm not asking about meaning and I'm not speculating myself. I don't believe that dreams have symbolic/subconscious meaning and I don't take dream interpretation seriously. At face value, I think it means I'm trying to control my dream and my brain is trying to defy me, like it usually does.

I can't say that I have flown backward in a dream. Usually flying or falling means that your life is out of control in some way and you are trying to cope with it.

Thanks for the tip, but I don't believe that dreams have meaning and I don't take dream interpretation seriously. Such interpretation is about as personal as horoscopes, relying too much on generalization. Had any flying dreams at all yourself?
