I've tried many different programs in a desperate attempt to boost my ACT score, but I have not been able to improve it anyhow. Are there any tips that can help a Junior out before his next ACT test coming out?
From what I've learned from the Princeton Review, Huntington, as well as external sources from my school:
English (45 Minutes, 75 Questions)
- Take 9 Minutes per passage
- Read EVERYTHING in the passage
- "Its' is not a word".
Math (60 Minutes, 60 Questions)
- Draw Objects out if necessary
Reading (35 Minutes, 40 Questions)
- 10 Questions per Passage (8-9 Minutes / Passage)
Science (35 Minutes, 40 Questions)
- 3-4 Minutes on the Charts / Graphs
- 4-5 Minutes on the "Multiple Experiments"
- 5-6 Minutes on the Reading Passage

Just keeping taking the tests at the back of the help books. There are also some free ones online. Honestly, it is a matter of luck of what problems you get and how confident you are going into the test. If you have a particularly hard time with one section, just study that for a couple days straight.
