I have to go to the hospital tomorrow to get the ultrasound exams at noon, ugh. How can I speed it all up and fast forward through it all?
I'm such a baby when it comes to Dr's.
Are you usually that way or do you just brave whatever it is you have to get done??

I get nervous when i get there not much before unless i have a test i never had before. But, i have had a couple ultrasounds for stomach problems. they are such an easy test the worst part is not being able to eat. Or if its one where you have to drink a lot of water first cause then when they push around you feel like you gonna pee yourself.

I can eat, but I have to drink 3-4 cups of water an hour before the appt, which I have had before. Thats not the hardest part of it though. I hate when they push you around and it feels like you have to pee, then other things I'm expecting as far as pain too now. The last exam I had at the DR office was like torture for me, and she didn't even use the ultrasound it was something else. Then it's the first time I've been to this one hospital and I'm confused on what paper I have to give them, cause I need another one like it back for my other Dr appt on the 30th again. I'm not sure if they said to only bring it to the clinic or if I have to bring it to the hospital as well. I'll bring it just in case but have to remember to get another one for the 30th. It's making me nervous cause I'm not really sure of what to expect or do this time. I wish the day were over and I was watching American Idol at home tonight already. I'd feel relaxed and not so jittery. Sigh.

Wow, that is alot to let go and catch up with. But sometimes we do this cause of the bills and not being able to afford them and then we wonder how we got so sick. The world should be a better place in this day and age and out govt should take care of us all much better than they do.

I do get anxious about procedures and have a hard time sleeping. I am not afraid of the exams and tests so much as I am afraid of what I will learn. Good luck tomorrow.

I agree, sometimes the outcome of the results are worse than you imagined. I have that in the back of my mind as well. This is a test for cancer also so please pray I don't have it. I slept fairly well as I've been tired from not sleeping so much and not feeling the greatest in general.

When I was a young girl, I used to dread going to the Dr's office with a passion, I HATED it, I used to worry about it so much. So I understand how you feel, but this post was written hours ago, so I think that you have gone to the Dr. already and now you are back at home, which is good.

Yea, I am back but still will answer the posts for it. I dreaded so much going to the Dr as a kid but I hadn't even gone that much. I don't remember my parents ever taking me for check ups and such after school age. My brother had a few operations on his hand/fingers cause he was born with problems with them and his toes. I went when I got a rash on my face. That was the last time I remember going or maybe when I had the chicken pox. I should have went to one when i was 12 a few times but they never took me, I had some problems that needed to be taken care of plus I had cut my foot bad, in a v. small area. I should have gotten a stitch or two but instead just hobbled on my foot in the air for a day or so. :(
