It's morning out here. Time to get ready for work. I am wondering if I should shave or not. I got stubble that looks terrible i guess. I normally shave only twice a week. What do you guys think of a guy coming to work without shaving? I mean do stubble look cool in a formal environment? Enjoy your day. Its gonna be hectic today, whether i shave or not..

hi rekhum. i have always kept most of my facial hair even though i work in a corporate environment. used to shave regularly but when i decided to go bald full time i decided to sport a 'stache, a goatee, and a beard. sometimes i shave but eventually it'll grow back and then i'll keep it again. i look like b real of cypress hill. lol! nothing wrong with having facial hair as long as you have it well-kept. cheers and happy mylotting!!!

Have you tried keeping a french beard? It looks cool on some guys who are hefty, beefy or are gym freaks. Shaving them everyday is just a waste of time i think, but you may look terrible if you avoid it too.

hi rekhum. had to look up 'french beard' in yahoo images to make sure. yup, that's the style i have most of the time. i'd let my 'stache and beard grow for two weeks and then have it shaved 'french beard' style and go on with that look for maybe a month or two. when i grow tired, i just shave it all off. it'll grow back again so no big deal. lol! also found a couple of links on how to shave that way. guess, i'll try next time. cheers and happy mylotting!

It depends on your job. If you have an office job or a "suit and tie" job you should shave. If you work retail (like I do) or construction or something...no shaving needed. The only exception would be if you are TRYING to grow a beard, then by all means don't shave.

I think even those in retail need to shave. Some customers prefer clean shaven men, well-groomed people actually, to serve them. And, in retail it's all about the customers.

Yeah i agree with gloryacam that they better shave for people who work at retail store. I'd rather deal with a suave customer service than stubbled. But at my work people come in their own fashion although it may be a suit & tie job.

As long as management is okay with it, then, that would be a problem. Well, for me wearing a stuble is really something that depends on your look. If you look good in it (ask the opinion of other people), why not. But, if it just makes you look sloppy, then by all means shave it!

I think the electric razor has made shaving so quick and easy that North American men don't feel dressed unless they shave every day.A large percentage of American women who used to trim their bikini line, are now shaving, because the electric shaver is so smooth and easy, and they( and their men) prefer soft and smooth!

Most of the men, i guess, would prefer soft and smooth. Question is do most of the women folk prefer havin their men with stubble.

I think it better stays that way.

Not much of a question! Whiskered men and 'soft and smooth'women, are not compatible!

If he was someone I'm not used to seeing with stubble, I'd think ""Yep. Somebody was partying last night".

I don't like too much of hairs on guy's chin. It looks dirty specially when you are working in a formal company. It also depends on what rules they have but then, I guess it's better to keep it clean. If you have it, just put a little, not too much...

But i thought they think some guys look cool with stubble on their chins though they are i formal suits.

Like you mean hair removal cream? lol. I might need it to use it in different areas. lol

If they grow back so quickly then maybe you should buy some product to minimize the hair growth. That would help.

I think it should be your "problem" if you are shaved or not, i don't think people should look different on you if you have stubble beard or a mustache, it is your right to grow on of them...

You better don't ask me.. unshaved men look dirty in my eyes and many women feel that way. There is nothing adorable or attractive on men with beards or mustaches (it's a sign you hide something since you don't show your face) also stubbles don't look cool at all (it's just what some lazy so called vips us once wanted to believe). But since these subbles are yours and you already find excuses why you don't need to shave I think you already made up your mind. BTW I hope you will think/have the same attitude if it comes to hairy women! I hope you find them cool as well since they are the ones with the most hectic days of human kind.

Not really..I would never expect my girl to be hairy. Else i'd turn into a 'Guru' some yoga practitioners.lol. Of course most of the week days i shave it off and head to work a a proud metrosexual. Now that's another word.

I don't like to shave. I try to do it twice a week, but just because my fiancee tells me a lot to do. I don't have problems with a stubble look, but some people can think it is strange depends on your company and kind of job. For me, it is a pain in the neck to have to shave, because you lose your time, your skin gets irritated and in the end of the day you already have those little hair growing up again. Happy mylotting.

Yeah, ain't it irritating? Just because they don't like them we have to get our chin go bald and then worry when they grow again.

I used to shave twice a week too but sometimes not for change.Sometimes it looks okay sometimes not, maybe depends on your clothes to wear. I guess as long as your comfortable it would be okay.

But i don't really know what clothing of mine will go along with what i wear. So for me, its either bald and wear whatever i want and/or stubbled with whatever is comfy. I am beginning to hate the corp. world and its environment.

I think media ought to do something. They should start appreciating models in suits but with stubble. Can't help it but for now i must shave.

Hi there.. Well, I fight with this question day in & day out... :) I work in an IT company wherein I am part of an offshore support team. My client is from UAE. So, I don't directly interact with the client face-to-face. Most of the interactions are done through phone or e-mails & therefore, I generally shave when I feel like it. My wife has gotten fed up of reminding me to shave & has completely stopped now.. My shaving ends up happening twice a week.. :)

I do not like a guy with a big beard, but a small, pugnacious might look appealing, and in addition make the guy look more sexi.Ale every job is different and other offers to the rules, you know best how much you can afford!

It's kind of weird that shaving means a lot of effort for me. But you know, It really depends on your kind of work. As for me, I work in a hospital were every thing should be literally clean. I even purchased a nice and expensive shaver just to make things easier.

Good for you. The shaving machines that are available now in the market are really handy, no doubt. Some use them to get different styles of their mustache/beard.

Well, it depends. There are some guys who looked good with stubble and some don't. But usually, when people are accustomed to seeing you with a stubble, they would be surprised if you shave it out. Anyway, my opinion is still to shave it out. I feel that nothing beats the clean and clear face out in the formal scenario.

Shaving is a part of your neatness and you must do it before going to your job. Every people used to brush their teeth daily like this you have to shave your face when you feel the hairs are grown up.
