Chairman of the Islamic Defenders Front Habib Muhammad Rizieq Shihab welcomed the attitude of the police that do not permit the implementation of Lady Gaga concert. According to him, the attitude of the police who refused to give consent is a form of respect for the community. "Rejection of the
Police Headquarters and Metro Jaya Police Headquarters to the Lady Gaga concert shall be appreciated by all Muslims and appreciated by all components of Indonesia," said Rizieq to VIVAnews, Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Habib Rizieq rate, the singer from the United States it would be inappropriate to hold a concert in Indonesia. "Lady Gaga is a symbol of Satan and demons international icon, so it does not deserve and should not be entered into the religious NKRI (Republic of Indonesia), stain and pollute less," he said. Because of this, he went back to appreciate the attitude that has taken the police by not giving permission for the concert which was originally held at the Bung Karno Stadium, Senayan, on June 3, 2012.
I'm not agree with this cancelation. Do you know that i don't like if this concert canceled even i can't bought the ticket because too expensive. The leaders in Indonesia majority have a shallow idea. They haven't a idea of art. I think Lady Gaga has many talent, fine art, even her song lyrics. I am very disappointed with Indonesia Police. They still do not care our freedom, Indonesian freedom. I am sure, if you're in my country, you don't like this concert canceled, do you?

Im not a fan of lady gaga and I dont have plan to buy her ticket but Im dissapointed with the police and especially FPI. Their reason to stop lady gaga's concert is totally ridiculous, speaking about the degrading moral of the youth there are many factors and mostly it is internal factor that make our people have lack of morality. Why blaming lady gaga when there are so many Indonesian celebrity and public figurs are worse than lady gaga. Why dont they ban Jupe, Depe and the friends, their song are worse than lady gaga's song, their dresses are way too vulgar than lady gaga, so why put the blame on lady gaga? Poor of the fan and the promotor who have bought ticket. FPI if you really care for Indonesia please do work to fight against corruption, that is the most important thing to do in this country.

Hahahahaha...Im laughing so hard, do you know one of Indonesian artists Uli Auliani met FPI, she joined FPI to ban lady gaga but do guys know who is uli auliani and her attitude? please do check who is uli auliani, her behavior, her reputation, her pictures, her interview 
she is worse than Lady Gaga, at least lady gaga has real talents unlike this girl uli auliani she has nothing but to expose herself, no talent at all. So if FPI really works hard to protect the moral of Indonesian people, well please ban this celebrity uli auliani, nikita mirzani, etc. Dont just put the blame on lady gaga. As I said Im not a fan of lady gaga but I think lady gaga is unique.
adhyz82, i completely agree with plekenut. if FPI wants to stay exist in Indonesia they must be nice or be gone! Indonesia consists at least 5 religions, everyone must respect each other belief, I remember during fasting month (ramadhan) FPI attacked so many restourants even if the restourants already covered the food stall. do you know what was their reason 'it is fasting month, everyone must respect the people who are fasting'. Hey, not everyone are fasting due to many reasons like sicks, women having monthly periode, children, etc. So what I meant to say, FPI always over reacted to everything and easily to judge other people. oh come on, if FPI cares for our morality then preach in nice methode not by attacking people.

I think FPI is useless, unless they show the peaceful act. Not only the artist, but also dangdut singers in many city. They wear their clothes at minimum size and doing kind of striptease dance. More nasty, lol.
I think Indonesia does not need FPI. There are Muhammadiyah and NU, they are good enough.

Hahahaha... Lady Gaga is a symbol of Satan and Demons international icon. Indonesian police are probably a bunch of Kooks in uniforms. At least they should come out with a better excuses rather than such a silly one... Her enormity will pollute and stain all of Indonesia, and corrupt all Indonesians. The chairman of the Islamic Defenders Front should get a life before making a fool out of himself with a shallow idea. I am totally speechless now. It is not just the most ridiculous statement i ever heard in this month, it is outright funny too that an extremist is calling a singer a representative of 'Satan'.

i think the police maybe give a good reason...it was weird and even a child can laugh at when hearing this silly reason..
but note, iam not fans of lady gaga..
and i never interested too watching lady gaga..and spend much money for watching a stupid concert too..but i really disagree too if the police make a stupid reason for cancelling the stupid concert

That is weird that it would have even been booked in the first place if they did not think she was a good model for the area. Sounds like maybe they are covering up something else like they couldn't give her the payment she wanted or some security issue couldn't be resolved. Easier to put the blame on the person that is outside of the country, rather than on themselves.
